In great and unbearable pain, Jhon Moziz summoned the last vestiges of his strength. He concentrated with his final breath and did the only thing that he was capable of doing…he smashed the full blast of his power into his own head, attacking his own brain and memory!
The force of the attack was so sudden and so violent that it exploded through Jhon Moziz’s head, knocking him unconscious immediately!
Leke Olugbade Bally screamed with frustration because he found only dense darkness inside the head of Jhon Moziz! The Grand Oracle had knocked himself dangerously unconscious and effectively blacking out his memories!
The darkness inside Jhon Moziz’s head threatened to suffocate Leke Bally, and he blasted out of the man’s head, causing a massive wind to ripple through Dayo Square.
“What are you planning?” Leke Olugbade Bally screamed with wrath. “What are you keeping from me? What is your secret? I will find out, do you hear me? I will find out, and I will kill all of you!”
He shot into the air in a maelstrom of great fury, causing a terrible wind to rip through the town, shutting windows and breaking the glass on many shop fronts.
And soon, Leke Olubgade Bally was a spectral, ghostly figure once more tearing across the sky…but this time with more fury!
He was so furious and confused that he failed to realize the presence of another demon, a demon with very huge red eyes hovering very far into the astral systems above Leke Olugbade Bally.
“Oh, my mean master!” the red-eyed demon whispered evilly. “I do know what is going on! But I don’t have enough information! Let me watch some more….and then I’ll come to you, yes, and claim my proper place beside you again with the information I have…very soon…very, very soon!”
The red eyes of the wicked demon that had followed Temidayo from Earth to Dayo slowly disappeared from the sky!

It was a witching hour, Kelly Philip knew.
A very bad night.
She lay in her cold bed deep in the dungeons of the old palace and drew the sparse cloth over herself. She could feel the cold seeping into her bones. The lantern was burning low; she needed more kerosene and some lantern wicks.
The rats and the mice were making great skittering and nibbling noises in the walls, making her cringe with distaste and horror. One would have thought that after more than eighteen years of living such a horrid life, she would grow used to the little discomforts, but she simply couldn’t.
She was still scared of the rats and the lizards and the reptiles. Luckily for her, three black cats had migrated into the dungeons with her and kept her cubicle free of the scary animals.
Kelly Philip was very sad tonight, yes.
She had had a horrible nightmare, one that had made her relive the death of her dearest husband, King Demi, over and again! She had woken up in tears, and immediately she had thought of her cherished daughter, Princess Uvbi Akenzua, trapped in that tower, waiting to be forced into marriage to that despicable Temitayo Anubi!
And she thought of her son, her dearest son, her prince, the only son of a great king, her precious son…Prince David Temidayo Dayo!
The tears were hot on Kelly Philip’s cheeks as she huddled on her cold bed.
“Oh, dearest Creator, when will this horror end?” she wept bitterly. “Where is my son? Is he alive? Is he well? Will I ever behold him, hold him, feel the love of a son for a poor mother?”
She wept bitterly, her cruelest.
“Oh, spirit of Demi, my dear husband, wherever you are, watch over your children!” she whispered. “Demi, my love, my only love, locate your son…keep him safe, and bring him back to me! Even if for a day, let me behold the son we made, my love!”
She continued to cry softly, and knew she was not going to be able to sleep for the rest of the night…

Juliet Udeh Onyinye grunted and moved away from Temitayo Anubi on the huge bed.
She had felt his hands on her throughout the night, and knew he wanted a slaking of his thirst, but she was just not in the mood tonight. Juliet was angry, in a way. She was angry that for more than twenty years they had not been able to occupy the western wing of the palace, where all the grand jewels were!
That was where the real king and the queen lived, and made merry! That was where the beautiful rooms were, the riches, the breath-taking halls, the amazing gardens, the finery and the elegant array of splendour!
But the western wing could only house a king holding the Royal DayoSword, and the moment King Demi had thrown the sword away before his final breath, all the huge golden doors leading to the western wing of the palace had automatically locked down and would open only to the right king holding the Royal DayoSword.
Juliet had therefore not been able to enjoy her status as a queen, and flaunt her affluence to her friends and all the jealous royals around. Indeed, for almost twenty years she had had to live with the pain of enduring the fake smiles and smirks of people every time they hosted a function in the northern wing of the palace!
Try as hard as she could to make it appear as realistic as possible, everyone in Dayo knew the real king and queen should occupy the western wing.
She did not know just how long she had to wait for this, to endure this injustice and shame!
Temitayo rolled over toward her, lying close behind her so that she could feel his erection digging into the softness of her behind, prodding persistently, not ready to let the night go to waste.
Juliet shifted herself and turned on her side to face him.
“I’m not in the mood, Tayo!” she hissed. “The party last night was a flop! My friends are no longer entertained! Everyone knows we’re living a lie, a life of a farce! If you don’t get the Royal DayoSword we’ll never be recognized as King and Queen of Dayo!”
Temitayo Anubi sighed and regarded her through a mist of his passion.
“Just a short while longer, Julie!” he said gently. “Princess Uvbi Akenzua will be twenty-four years in a few more months – eight months, to be precise – and then I’ll force her to marry me, take her virginity, and the DayoSword will be ours, my love! We’ll move to the Western Wing, and live the life we have always dreamed of!”
“She will not sit with you as Queen even if you marry her, Tayo!” Juliet cried indignantly.
“Oh, my love!” Temitayo whispered, exasperated. “How many times do I have to tell you that she will just be a useless girl in the palace once I get my hands on the DayoSword? No blood of my uncle will survive my hatred! If I had my way I’ll behead her and her useless mother! We have waited this long, sweet Julie! The time to enjoy is almost here…just have a little bit more faith and patience!”
Juliet’s teeth ground together…
Yes, indeed, faith and patience!
She would have to endure Temitayo being with Princess Uvbi Akenzua and making love to her, just to get the DayoSword. But once that agenda was fulfilled, Juliet would make sure that the princess died a slow, painful death!
Her wrath had still not been calmed by the death of King Demi, who had dishonoured her and chosen that useless slave girl, Kelly Philip, as his queen. Juliet aimed to make sure that King Demi’s family suffered the cruelest of indignities! It had begun with Kelly Philip being imprisoned in the dungeons!
Very soon, after they obtained the sword, she would make sure the princess was also taken to the dungeons, and flogged every month!
Temitayo moved on top of her, forcing her legs apart.
Juliet closed her eyes and forced herself to accept him.
Yes, it was a price she had been paying just to be made a real queen. She accepted his thrusts and grunts and kept her eyes on the ceiling.
Faith and patience…
Yes, indeed…very soon!
Once she moved to the Western Wing, Kelly Phillip and her useless daughter, Princess Uvbi Akenzua, would know the real revenge of Juliet, oh yes, they certainly would!
