Kobina cursed under his breath, put Joan down gently and threw open the door angrily.
He was speechless as he stared into the eyes of Aku and Naakpe.
He gaped at them and looked over his shoulders to look for Aba but she had run away when he put her down to open the door. He invited them in and went in search of her.
“You have visitors,” he told her when he got to the bedroom, a little disappointed.
“Who?”

“Go and you’ll find out,” he said resignedly.
She looked at him with uncertainty and gave his shoulder a comforting pat. She then went to the bathroom to freshen up.
“He seems annoyed with our presence,” Aku said to Naakpe.

“Why would you think so? He’s not,” she replied and studied her image with the aid of her phone camera.
Joan dressed quickly and went to the living room to find Aku sitting all by herself.
“Aku!, how did you find this place?” she asked, giving her a warm hug.
“I came with Naakpe,” Aku said, studying her friend.
Just then Naakpe emerged from the kitchen holding a glass of fruit juice, but she stopped, put her drink on the table and jumped into the arms of Aba, almost making her fall.
“Aba Joan!, you are not wearing dross,” she observed.

“Goweyou,” she said laughing to hide her embarrassment, “Make yourselves comfortable, I will be right back.”
“Are you going to wear your dross?” she teased making Aku join in the laughter despite feeling uneasy about their timing.
Aba then served Aku with a drink and went to check on her man. She found him asleep breathing shallowly. She placed her palm on his forehead and saw that it was hot.

She soaked a towel, squeezed it and placed it on his forehead. Feeling nervous, she went out without telling her guests anything to inform Gregg of the situation. She returned, with Gregg, who examined him, shook him awake and gave him two. tablets he had taken from a little box he had with him.
“Don’t worry, he’s going to be ok. Give him one more tablet when he wakes up. He is going to sleep for about 2 hours,” Gregg said and left.

He went back to invite Aba and her friends to the poolside party.
The three ladies were soon chatting heartily gisting about all sorts of issues.
“This party will be full of expatriates,” Joan informed them.
“I have never slept with a white man before,” Aku said “I have heard that they are kƠ‰ti bƠ‰tƠ‰”
“Not all of them,” Naakpe shot back.
“Eeii, you, have you chopped a white man before?” Aku asked with laughter.
“No, I haven’t, Mamaga told me.”

“Do you think there will be pork at the party,” Aku asked.
“What time is the party,” Naakpe asked.
“The party starts at noon and yes, there’ll be pork, and chicken, and tilapia, and sausages, and all kinds of drinks.”
“But how can you go to a poolside party without wearing a swimming costume?” Aku asked.
“I have one, in my bag,” Naakpe said to the amusement of her friends. They chatted while Joan prepared light soup for Kobina.

She went to check on him and happily saw that the fever had gone down and he was sleeping well.
She then left a note to inform him of her whereabouts should he wake up in her absence. She left the bathroom to see that Gregg had returned with three white bikinis, three fawn hats and three sun shades.
They thanked him. He enquired about Kobina and Joan assured him that he was a bit better now.
“I wish you were my boyfriend,” Naakpe told him.

“I also wish so,” Gregg replied and laughed.
“Eeeeiiiiiiiiii,” both Joan and Aku exclaimed and they all burst into laughter.
Joan then prepared Jollof for them and they ate, drank and watched Arnold’s antics in Different Strokes.
There was never a dull moment whenever Naakpe was around and she entertained them with her dancing skills. They watched more funny movies and totally forgot about the poolside party.

“Joan, I almost forgot, have you seen your old boyfriend?” Aku asked.
“And who might that be?” the amused Joan asked.
“Who else but Nkuto.”
“No please, I haven’t seen him since I left the Market.”
“I saw him at the Harbour taxi rank. He was walking as if he had something in his anus, hahaha,” Naakpe told them and they all joined her in the resultant laughter.

Maybe it was the strong bond of a group of people who have struggled to make ends meet together but they were just amazing. They were so happy together that they didn’t go to the party and it took Gregg to remind them once again.
Though each of them was beautiful, they were uniquely different from each other; in terms of shape and form.
They made their triumphant entry to the poolside.
Aba Joan was of medium height, and beautiful, with a cute shapely body, moderate portion of boobs and butt and had her trademark smile on which endeared her to everyone she happened to meet.

Aku was slightly taller than Aba but of the same form – long legs, dark in complexion beautiful, and had a bewitching smile that radiated over her face.
Naakpe had a cute face, saucy lips that added to her beauty, had massive ample boobs and more than a fair share of butts. They walked majestically, with the men showing their appreciation with whoops and catcalls. Gregg introduced them and the merriment continued unabated. Drinks and snacks were in abundance.
Aku and Naakpee flirted mostly with the expatriates.

It seemed as if the party had come to life with their presence. They made some of the men do some outrageous things; like getting them to try to lick their own noses and their elbows.
Naakpe then got some of them to do her own version of the Azonto and Atopa dances.
Both Aku Naakpe had something in common. It that they just don’t go to bed with any man they meet; whether he had money or not. They had to love them first before the would allow them to intimately touch them.

“Maybe another time, Alonso” Naakpe told one of them. “I hope your dick is not too big.”
“Don’t worry, next time, I will make you happy,” Aku told the guy flirting with her.
They took their leave and went to see Aba Joan who had earlier left the poolside, spoon-feeding Kobina who had woken up.
“Why don’t you girls spend the night here and leave with Aba in the morning?” Kobina offered but they declined.
“Don’t worry,” Naakpe said “I will surely visit before I go to London.

“My visa has been granted and I will leave next month,” she said and burst into tears of joy.
They whooped with joy, congratulated her and said their well-wishes.
Exactly at 8:00 pm, Aba, like a mother hen, shooed Kobina Ferguson off to bed, popped a tablet into his mouth, and tucked him in and he was out in a matter minutes. They spent a deep dreamless night together, cuddling up.

Morning dawned and Aba got up to find herself alone in bed. She saw him emerging from the bathroom, bare-chested and looking down at her. She escaped to the bathroom, did her ablutions quickly and went to prepare breakfast of Milo and toasted brown bread with vegetable fillings.
He then drove her to the bus terminal where she boarded an air-conditioned bus to Winneba.

Kobina then went to see Deaconess Abena Acquaye to tell her about how Frank, her man had lodged an assault complaint against him.
“As for Frank, his jealousies will kill him one day,” she said.
“I am wondering if you can go with me to clear things up at the police station,” he said.
She stared at him for a while.

Â
“Hmmm, that would be difficult. How can I, Abena Acquaye, Deaconess of St Matthews International Pentecostal Church sign a statement that I went to spend the night with my boyfriend? No, I won’t.”
Try as Kobina did but she said no.
Disappointed, Kobina went to the police station and told his inspector friend of the situation.

“Don’t worry, Mr Ferguson. I know you didn’t assault the man. I know that man, I’ll talk to him and plead on your behalf. I am sure he will withdraw the case,” the inspector said.
And that was exactly how it happened.
They met the said former policeman who admitted that he acted out of jealousy. Kobina explained his relationship with the Deaconess and the case was withdrawn.

Kobina Ferguson then drove Frank to Nchaban and by which time they had become friends. He even asked Kobina not to hesitate in seeking his help anytime he encountered any problems that could be beyond what the police could do. They exchanged contacts and parted.
Kobina from that day, dedicated his time to Aba Joan, his business and to the Online course he was doing with the University of Cape Coast.

He together with his two employees – receptionist cum sales girl and the delivery man – were very efficient in conducting the business. He told Gregg about his desire to purchase a pickup and he offered him his Nissan Hardbody pickup on hire purchase terms. They even went to the D.V.L.Offices with him to sign the change of ownership documents.
