After the train ride, they boarded another coach that took them deep into a remote town, and from there they walked into the adjoining woods, and then an arduous trek up a mountainside followed.
Finally, as they walked through what appeared to be a thick forest, they stopped in front of what Temi thought was a clump of thick foliage, but Mickey King put his fingers into his mouth and blew a strange whistle three times.
Not long after that, the thick clump of foliage suddenly parted in two ways, and Temi realized it was a sort of secret passage. Quickly, they entered, and the two halves closed again behind them.
They walked about an hour after that under some trees, the route taking a narrow, twisting, and arduous nature until he suddenly saw a wonderful place spread out before him, and he forgot his tiredness immediately.
Below him was a large, flat, pleasant habitation. He could see huge green fields, lovely trees, and in the distance a sheen of lovely water, probably a lake or a river. The buildings were cone-like white constructions. There were strange-looking fluorescent lights that were on in the approaching darkness.
Temi saw a few people around, their movements hurried and urgent.
Prosper Freeman put a hand on Temi’s arm.
“Welcome to The Haven. Come, Temi, let’s hurry,” he said gently. “The darkness gathers, and soon the White Kombas would come foraging.”
Temidayo was startled.
“The vile White Kombas come here too?”
Prosper nodded grimly.
“They’re incredibly fast and powerful, able to cover long distances in just a few minutes,” he said with concern. “Come, let me show you a place to stay for the night. Tomorrow morning, our business begins, and there wouldn’t be much rest for you then.”
As they entered the habitation, Temi saw that people were fast entering their rooms and closing the doors in fear of the White Kombas, but many of them looked at Temi with keen interest.
“Mickey, go and inform The Keepers that we’re back,” Prosper said brusquely. “Tell them Temi will stay with me tonight, and at dawn, we shall have a meeting.”
Mickey King nodded, looked coldly at Temi for a second, and then he began running down another path.
Prosper Freeman’s quarters were at the outer end of the small settlement. It was near the lake. There was only one other building near it.
It was warm and comfortable and had three sleeping rooms.
He showed Temi into one.
“This is your room, Prince,” he said softly. “Make yourself comfortable. Take a bath, if you must, and then come and join me for dinner. Do hurry up, because I’m famished. You’ll find some clothes in the wardrobe for you, your measurements were given us by the Grand Oracle, and so we made the tailor make you some few clothes.”
***
Temi heard a voice, as if from a very long way off.
He dragged himself from the warmth of his sleep and opened his eyes a crack. It had been a long night with Prosper. They had eaten and then had conversed long into the night as the deadly White Kombas snarled and roared outside.
Prosper had shut all the windows and had not allowed Temi to peer out at the fiendish monsters. Finally, when the White Kombas fell silent, Prosper had told him to go to bed.
His room was large with an enclosed bathroom. The bed was comfortable even than the one at the lodge. Temi had taken off his clothes, fallen on the bed and had been asleep almost instantly.
“Get up, would you?” he heard a female voice above him, filled with impatience.
He could see a dim outline through his cracked eyes, and then he yawned greatly, stretched luxuriously and then opened his eyes.
There was a girl in the room.
And she was a raving beauty!
She was standing at the foot of the bed looking at him with hard eyes. She was wearing a pair of black shorts, and it was very short. A black T-shirt stopped just above her navel. Her hair was plaited in long strands on her head, and there wasn’t any sign of make-up on her face.
Her skin glittered beautifully because she was very light of skin. She was curved so incredibly that his eyes opened wider. Her graceful neck, gentle shoulders, the thrust of her beautiful breasts, the gentle swell of her hips, and her incredibly beautiful legs simply took his breath away!
Her face was oval, almost elfin-like, her features set with precision, each a perfectly-made object of beauty. From her clear, disdainful eyes that held shades of grey flints, to her small nose and her full lips, are exquisitely formed and it set his young heart beating with sudden desire.
She was the most beautiful of all the women he had seen so far.
Temi’s heart almost stopped as he gaped at her, and his throat went dry.
“You’re so beautiful!” he whispered as he sat up on the bed. “Are you married, per chance?”
She glared fiercely at him and shook her head once.
“No, I’m not married,” she said in a beautiful pleasant voice.
Temidayo smiled with relief, and then he felt a stiffening between his legs and looked down.
Because he was naked, he saw that the thing between his legs had become very hard and strong, and he looked at it with wonder.
“Hey, look,” he said, pointing to his penis. “My amu became hard even before you touched it. Chioma had to touch it first before it expanded! Is your otu wet now? Would you want to put my amu inside your otu?”
The girl gaped at him with so much shock and chagrin that her mouth fell open, and then she rapidly got control of herself, and her beautiful face reflected her fury.
“Are you mad?” she hissed fiercely at him, and he noticed that her hands were balled-up and pressing tightly against her thighs.
Temi got to his feet and approached her with worry.
“Why are you so angry, huh?” he asked with confusion. “If you’re not married, then certainly no one would stone us if we get naked and I put it inside your otu. It is nice, a very nice feeling indeed. I like it too when Chioma put my amu in her mouth and gobbled it. Do you want to start with that, gobble me up?”
He was reaching out to take her in his arms, his member still up and proud, when her right foot came off the floor and rammed into his scrotal sac with deadly precision.
And, for the very first time in his life, Temidayo found out that man’s most sensitive part was two balls of bunched meat inside a sac hanging out of his body. He yowled with indescribable pain as shafts of agony lanced through his balls.
He grabbed himself between the legs and fell to the floor, his face torn up in agony as the girl glared furiously down at him.
The door flew open and Prosper Freeman came in with a worried look on his face.
“Roselyn Amaefule!” he hissed with sudden unbridled fury. “What is this? What did you do to him?”
“That bastard is no prince!” the girl said savagely as she pointed a stiff forefinger at the writhing Temi. “He is a pig! An uncouth pig! He wanted to sleep with me, and had the audacity to ask me to put his filthy rod in my mouth!”
“Shut up, girl!” Prosper said in a furious voice. “What’s the matter with you? Get out of here this instant!”
She turned and strutted out of the room, and Prosper fell to one knee beside the moaning Temidayo.
“Are you okay?” he asked anxiously. “What did she do to you?”
“She kicked my amu, the balls under the amu! Goodness me, it is so painful!” Temi said in agony, and Prosper grimaced.
He helped Temi to a sitting position and looked at him with concern.
He pursed his lips for a moment and then spoke carefully.
“Sorry, my prince. That place is man’s most sensitive point of pain, and you must learn to protect it at all times,” he said quietly. “Listen, Temi, I think I can figure out what happened here without you explaining. You grew up without picking up societal norms and values, Temi, and so you’re deficient in the ways of decency. You’ll only be in for more pain and disappointments if you continue like this.”
“I don’t understand!” Temi said painfully. “Why did she hurt me?”
“Breathe, my prince, breathe,” Prosper said. “She hurt you because you were not decent, I’m sure, my dear friend.”
“Decent? What amounts to being decent, and what doesn’t?” Temi gasped out. “I asked her in a nice way if she wanted to put my amu in her otu!”
[insert-comment-form]And now our NEW YEAR message to you all!
GLORIOUS 2019
Jehovah has counted us worthy to see this year. We give all thanks to Him.
Going through 2018, a lot happened – the good, the bad and the ugly – but we are here, alive.
We met a lot of people in the past year. We made new friends, rekindled old broken friendships and even met people who were, excuse my language, evil to the core.
One thing that stood out was that life pressures make people a little prejudiced even where they themselves are concerned.
People depend so much on looks, riches, achievements, infirmities to get close to you or not.
We allow our limitations in life – be it physical, emotional and spiritual – to define our happiness!
Being alive is the greatest gift each of us has received because it offers us a chance, another opportunity to be better.
So going forward in 2019, let’s learn to bury the crosses we bear because of how we look, what happened in the past and the inadequacies we feel because we are financially not sound.
Le’s continue to trust in the Giver of Life.
This year, as you go about the usual hustles of life, remember you are unique and loved.
The’ Klever’ Song for this year is “This Is Me” by Kesha.
Let it be a reminder that YOU ARE SPECIAL NO MATTER WHAT.
Glorious New Year to you all!
From Aaron & Eunice
THIS IS ME
LYRICS
I am not a stranger to the dark
Hide away, they say
‘Cause we don’t want your broken parts
I’ve learned to be ashamed of all my scars
Run away, they say
No one’ll love you as you are
But I won’t let them break me down to dust
I know that there’s a place for us
For we are glorious
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I’m meant to be, this is me
Look out ’cause here I come
And I’m marching on to the beat I drum
I’m not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Ohh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh
Another round of bullets hits my skin
Well, fire away ’cause today, I won’t let the shame sink in
We are bursting through the barricades and
Reaching for the sun (we are warriors)
Yeah, that’s what we’ve become (yeah, that’s what we’ve become)
I won’t let them break me down to dust
I know that there’s a place for us
For we are glorious
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I’m meant to be, this is me
Look out ’cause here I come
And I’m marching on to the beat I drum
I’m not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Ohh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh
This is me
and I know that I deserve your love
(Oh-oh-oh-oh) ’cause there’s nothing I’m not worthy of
(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh)
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
This is brave, this is proof
This is who I’m meant to be, this is me
Look out ’cause here I come (look out ’cause here I come)
And I’m marching on to the beat I drum (marching on, marching, marching on)
I’m not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I’m gonna send a flood
Gonna drown them out
Oh
This is me
