EPISODE 22
Esi had never known such terror ever!
She was so terrified that she was scared her heart would just stop beating and she would simply die. As the woman’s cold hands groped around her face and neck and tried to lock into her hair, Esi instinctively reached for the door release lever as the woman got a handful of her hair and tried to hurl Esi toward the windscreen.
She was saved by the seatbelt which hindered the woman. With a screech of fury, the woman reached down and pressed on the knob that released the seatbelt, and at the same time Esi slammed down hard on the brake pedal and yanked the steering-wheel hard to the right. The huge car lurched and the tyres screeched with fury as it drifted hard to the right, tossing the mad woman hard against the door.
Esi was momentarily free and she killed the engine, drew out the key from the ignition and then opened the door. She lurched out drunkenly and fell down hard on the hard street. She moaned with pain as her knees came down rather cruelly on the ground, but she struggled to her feet and began to ran.
Esi had been in the school racing team, and had even once considered running as a career choice because she was very good at running. She thought that once she had taken the key from the car and had gotten out first, she could outrun that evil entity in the car!
So, she took off like a bullet, running fast from the area. She took one look back and saw that the woman was still struggling in the car and Esi’s heart soared with hope because she knew there was no way that evil thing would catch her.
But, when she straightened up, the woman was standing right in front of her, and her fist slammed into Esi’s face with such ferocity that Esi was lifted off her feet to slam heavily on the ground, smashing the back of her head on the hard pavement, and then she lay absolutely still with all the air knocked out of her.
Tears fell heavily down her face as she lay on the ground weeping with pain and horror. The beautiful woman was standing above her now with eyes filled with murder.
“Please,” Esi begged painfully. “Please…don’t hurt me! I beg of you! Please, don’t! I don’t have anything to do with Yaw Boat anymore! He told me he was coming back to you, please!”
“No, not back to me!” the beautiful woman hissed venomously and kicked Esi hard in the ribs, causing her to wail with fresh pain. “He’s going back to that other whore no doubt, that Nicole! I’m going to kill all you whores that dared to put your stench on him!”
Esi could not speak; she was in way too much agony to make any speech. That kick to her ribs had hurt something, and she could barely breathe now as she stared at the woman above her.
She could not speak, but her heart sent up a silent prayer.
Dear Father above, please, not like this! Death has found me, Father, my Lord, please help me…accept my prayer of repentance, my God, and save me from this hour, I beg of you…
The woman dropped to her knees beside her and put a hand on Esi’s stomach, and then she flinched with horror and her eyes opened with unimaginable pain and horror.
“You dared to take seed for him?” she whispered with rancid horror and then her fists rained down heavily on Esi’s face like pistons! She screeched as her blows fell, punishing and hard. “No one gives him children except me, do you hear me? No one, no one, no one shall be a mother to his children except me!”
Esi was bleeding in the face from the punishing assault!
Was she pregnant for Yaw?
How had this evil witch known?
But of course, Esi had been entertaining such thoughts, almost hoping for a pregnancy. She had been in her most fertile stage when they made love that night…so it was not a shock to her. She had been entertaining thoughts of waiting for her monthly flow, and if it did not show up, she would do a test.
Of course, she did not plan to tell Yaw, or force him to be responsible, no. she was going to give birth if indeed she was pregnant, and that baby would be a symbol of the love she felt for him. Although she knew Yaw Boat was not the type of man to abandon her if he knew she was carrying his baby, she also knew he would be there for her, but of course he would not leave the woman he loved for her!
But this evil woman knew!
Lord, who was this woman?
“My name is Elaine!” the woman hissed despicably as she got to her feet and looked down at Esi’s bloodied face. “But you will not live to have this child for him, you whore! You just brought death to your door!”
She clenched her right fist suddenly and an unholy scream shot out of Esi’s mouth as she felt a most agonizing pain in her stomach, right through her womb!
“You just lost that baby, whore!” Elaine hissed and yanked downward hard!
Esi screamed again as she felt blood running down her thighs in torrents!
And in her dazed stupor she watched helplessly as the woman held both hands in front of her and squeezed them!
Immediately, Esi felt the gripping agony around her neck and air suddenly stopped flowing through her gullet! She could not breathe! The woman was strangling her!
She held her own neck and thrashed her legs fiercely on the ground as she fought for air, gasping with torture as death swiftly approached!
And then, quite suddenly, a black Lexus saloon car shot around the bend in the road and came swiftly towards them. Elaine looked across her shoulder with sudden fury as the car came to a screeching halt and the driver’s door flung open.
The man that came out was not tall but he was powerfully-built, and he was dressed in black jeans, black combats, black T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He had a full growth of beard and he ripped off his sunglasses as he approached them.
“Get away from here, Unblind, before I kill you too!” Elaine hissed furiously.
“As prophesied by the Lord of Hosts, you have no dominion over this damsel, demon!” the man said in a huge, rumbling voice. “Begone in the name of Jesus Christ!”
He flung out his hand and Elaine was swept sideways to smash with sickening force into a tree beside the road. She screeched with sheer hatred and muttered some words, and then she shot through the air like a wild tiger, her lips drawn back from her teeth in a horrid snarl that took away all her beauty, her hands stretched out like talons, and then she smashed into the muscular man with such force that they were both thrown heavily against the side of the Lexus.
Esi was weeping pitifully now as she drew in lungful of air and began breathing. She knew that God had just saved her from certain death, and her tears fell with more intensity, but filled with relief and gratitude.
Elaine was squatting on the man and her hands were flying desperately toward his face in her bid to blind him. The man’s right fist came up flush against her jaw, and her body was flung off his body. With a grunt of fury, he gained his feet and pointed his right hand.
“In the name of…” he began, but that was as far as he got because Elaine let out a fierce screech that was so horrible and painful that Esi clamped her hands to her ears, and the man did the same as he dropped to his knees with pain, and then Elaine soared into the sky like a bullet and in a split of a second vanished!
For a moment Esi could not hear anything just a harsh ringing in her ears. The thickset man also shook his head numbly and slapped his ears a couple of times to restore sound, and then he got to his feet painfully and walked toward her.
He dropped to one knee beside her and spoke, but for a moment Esi could not hear anything until he reached out and touched her hand, and she felt a jolt passing through her, and suddenly all the physical pains she was feeling stopped.
“Oh, thank you, thank you, sir,” she whispered in a trembling voice.
“The God you serve had compassion on you, and sent me to help you,” the man said in his deep rumbling voice. “Serve Him well, Esi. You might not have another chance!”
She nodded severally as she sat up, and saw how drenched her skirt was with her blood which had formed rivulets on her legs. Tears filled her eyes as she looked at the man with sheer emotional pain.
“I lost a baby, didn’t I?” she asked with trembling lips.
He nodded sadly.
“Unfortunately, she did her worst before I got here,” he said in a pained voice. “I’m sorry.”
She began to weep, but he put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head gently at her.
“Cry not, Esi,” he said gently. “The good Lord has great plans for you only if you’re ready to serve Him well. Your future is filled with happiness. Now, get up, take the car, and go home. You’re okay.”
“Who are you, sir?” she asked in a feeble voice.
“Ledi Pedi,” he said.
“You’re like…Yaw Boat, my friend!” she whispered. “You also have that…gift!”
He smiled nicely at that.
“Well now, that’s a compliment,” he said with a chuckle. “But nobody is like Yaw Boat, you know. His gifts are awesome, awesome! That bitch would not have been able to scream his ears off. He’s my friend too, and I’m afraid I have to leave you to go to him. He needs me.”
He stood up and turned.
“No, wait!” Esi cried with horror. “Please, let me go first before you leave here!”
“Esi, don’t worry!” he said calmly. “The hand of the Lord is on your life now, and no evil can harm you again. Be of good cheer!”
But Esi would not listen to him as she fled hard to the Escalade and got in.
Ledi Pedi waited until she drove up to him and wound down the window.
“Tell him I love him,” she whispered miserably. “Tell him I’ll always love him, always, but I’m moving on!”
Ledi Pedi nodded kindly and watched her drive off, and then he entered his car and started up again.
“Yaw, Yaw, Yaw, buddy!” Ledi Pedi said grimly. “Don’t let this evil storm overtake you, bro. I’m scared…I’m really scared, buddy.”
He drove off at breakneck speed toward his friend!

So while all this drama was going on, Elaine was watching with her own agenda?.

God has a way of saving His children, and He indeed came thru for Esi big time!. I am sure Esi herself is surprised she’s still alive.
So Elaine has mastered the art of evil like that?. She’s really a demon, wow!.
Esi, for sleeping with Yaw Boat, she’s in dangrr…
abd Nicole, for falling in love with Yaw Boat, her life’s in danger…
