Demel kissed the back of her neck and turned her face slightly so he can kiss her on the lips.
“Good morning beautiful!”
“Good morning ma Prince!”
Demel rubbed his hands over her bare hands and felt her skin harden with goosebumps all over them.
“How was your night, my Princess?” he asked, planting a kiss on each shoulder.
“Perfect! Yours?” she replied.
“With that beautiful dose of love, I slept like a baby. You drive me crazy, Diamond. I love you so much.”
“Love you more Demel. You drive me totally insane with your hands and tongue.”
She turned to face him, his arms around her. He drew her close, meaning to hug her but she surprised him with a deep, long kiss. She felt the throb in his shorts almost immediately and she was glad she could affect him so.
He caressed her thighs as he kissed her back, his need for her very obvious from the way he breathed. Demel dragged her gently, with his arms still around her, his need for her like a picture on his face. He kicked the door open and entered the room with his lips still on hers, exploring, giving and receiving unadulterated kisses that set him on fire. He dropped slowly into the sofa and pulled her to sit on him after Diamond shed the sheets she had used to cover herself, exposing her beautiful curves and proud and inviting breasts.
Demel clamped his lips on her left nipple making Diamond shudder with intoxication from her need to feel him inside her.
She moved closer, taking his nipples and gently rubbing them with her palms.
Demel seemed to be saying something but the words were buried by his desire. His hands went around her and lifted her off her feet, as he continued to tease her with his tongue on her nipples. He placed her gently on the bed and took a long look at her and the fury between his legs increased as he stood admiring the beauty before his eyes. He dropped slowly to his knees, parting her thighs gently. Their eyes met and held for a while, the language so clear and poignant.
He held her gaze, she held his as he entered her core in a gentle thrust at first and worked slowly until they both found their rhythm. They moaned in unison and soon they danced to the one song, only their hearts could make as their hearts beat to the tune and sound of their love song.
They made sweet love again, and again, and again until they were both befuddled with their mutual love for each other.

Diamond felt sick and dizzy. The loud music from the inbuilt speakers of the night club made her head spin. The smell of sweat mingled with numerous scents of perfume and alcohol made her nauseous. Demel, her fiancé, guided her through the throng of bodies on the dance floor to the VIP lounge with a dance swing here and there. She gratefully sat down after exchanging pleasantries with Demel’s friends and their dates for the night and gave out a sigh of relief.
“Where’s the birthday boy? ” Demel asked his friends as he took a seat next to her.
“Out there somewhere. I hooked him up with a girl as his present. They went dancing, I guess,” Sly responded.
Diamond looked around the table to distract herself. She wasn’t used to this kind of lifestyle. Lately, it was beginning to tell on her. She always felt out of place when she was forced to meet up with Demel’s buddies for their wild sit-ups.
There were ten guys at the lounge with their dates. She knew all of them except one. She knew they would eventually be introduced so she didn’t rush it. The stranger, however, seemed a little lost too.
Demel dragged her to the dance floor with a beer in hand. He gulped down the contents of the bottle and set it down on the counter on their way to the dance floor. He wound his arms around her waist and held her tight as they danced. She felt she was suffocating but did not complain.
He held her close and tried to kiss her but she swerved him. She had something, a dislike more like, about showing intimacy in public. Maybe, it was the way she was brought up. Her grandmother and father were very principled and old-fashioned. They even saw it as a sign of disrespect to bring a guy to your room when they were around. She grew up thinking that it was inappropriate to show affection like kissing or holding hands in public.
Demel tried to kiss her on the dance floor again and when she tried to move her head to the side, he flipped.
“Do I repulse you that much, Diamond? You can’t even kiss me?”
“Please don’t start a fight, darling. You know I don’t like it when you kiss me in public. That’s how I’ve been ever since you met me so stop making it look like I’m trying to be difficult.”
“Who cares? You’re my ‘chick’ and I should be able to even f**k you anywhere I want. Look around you, Diamond! Are you saying you are better than those girls who are kissing their boyfriends with careless abandon?”
Tears suddenly formed in Diamond’s eyes.
She stopped dancing and tried to wriggle her way out of Demel’s arms but he held on to her tightly. Diamond felt very hurt that Demel would actually compare her with those girls around who could do virtually anything with a guy in the open without feeling any remorse.
From where she stood, she could see a guy sucking a girl’s nipple right on the dance floor and another guy had his hand inside a girl’s shorts, obviously touching her core with the sounds she was making.
Diamond was disgusted when Demel’s statement replayed in her mind. Who the hell did he think she was, some slut he could just use anyhow and anywhere?
Demel pulled her close and planted kisses on both cheeks when the implication of his statement hit him. He loved her with every fibre in him and from time to time he loved to show her just how much he adored her by touching or kissing her no matter where they were.
He was always frustrated when she took offence any time he tried to kiss her in public. It made him feel unwanted in a way and he always got hurt by that. He was brought up to show his feelings anytime, anywhere. They had talked about that severally and although there had been a remarkable improvement, he still felt there was still more room for compromises.
“Forget I said that. I didn’t really mean for it to come out like that. I just feel unloved when you do that. But forget it. I was out of line there, please!”
Diamond just stared. No sound came from her mouth as she fought the sadness that had come over her by his earlier words.
Demel took her hand and guided her off the dance floor. When they got to the VIP lounge all the friends and their dates were seated with drinks and food spread before them. There was laughter and excited screams all around the VIP lounge as the boys told rib-cracking jokes and recounted some events from their secondary school days.
They crowned the birthday celebration with their secondary school anthem after the modified birthday song. The huge birthday cake which was designed to look like the male sexual organ was cut by the birthday boy and distributed to everyone present.
Diamond found herself laughing at most of the jokes and recounts and soon it was time to leave. She admitted it had been fun on the whole.
Demel, who had had too much to drink, dragged her to her feet and led her to shake hands with everyone around the table before heading outside to their car. Diamond begged to drive since she was sober but Demel insisted he could drive. She tried to insist but gave in because she did not want to cause a great scene or embarrass him in front of his friends.
He opened the car door for Diamond and toddled to the driver’s side. He kissed her briefly and asked her to fasten her seatbelt as he fastened his.
Demel moved out of the car park smoothly and drove steadily towards her home.
Halfway through their journey, a taxi crossed them and Demel had to swerve rather too late ending up scratching the driver side of the car into the erected rails at the sides of the road, denting the whole side of the car badly. They were both dazed momentarily when the car came to a stop basically due to fear.
Diamond tried to open her door but it would not open.
Demel seemed to have passed out or had become catatonic with the shock of the near-fatal accident. She shook him hand and he only made grunting sounds but his eyes stayed closed.
As Diamond fumbled for the car remote, she realized a car had stopped behind theirs and the driver was walking towards them. She was suddenly scared.
A knock came on the window at her side. She turned slowly and came face to face with the stranger at the party. She was not sure whether to be relieved or scared since they never got introduced.
Diamond could barely hear him but she could see the look of concern all over his face. She got hold of the car key and opened the doors with the remote. Her door opened hurriedly and she allowed herself to be pulled out.
“Are you hurt?” the stranger asked, with worry written all over his face.
“No, not really. It’s him I’m worried about. We need to get him out.”
The stranger hurried to Demel’s door and opened it in a flash. The space around it limited him but he managed to pull him out after a while. He placed him on the floor close to the rails and checked for a pulse.
“He’s breathing.
Diamond asked the stranger to step aside so she that she could check Demel completely, and he obliged.
“I’m a nurse, I know what I’m doing so don’t be worried.”
” I hear you, madam.”
There was a familiarity with his voice but Diamond could not immediately place it.
Demel seemed to be asleep by her assessment but she would want a second opinion to confirm her finding.
“He seems to be alright. If the car will start, I can drive him to a nearby hospital for a second opinion.”
The stranger offered to drive them to a nearby hospital but Diamond didn’t want him to bother. He managed to start Demel’s car after a while, helped carry him to the back seat and arranged him comfortably.
Diamond drove through the night a bit shaken as the stranger followed her. He had insisted he wanted to be sure everything was alright with her and eventually got her to agree.
A while into the journey, Demel started talking, still in a drunken stupor though, and Diamond became convinced that all was well with him.
She stopped, thanked the stranger who gave his name as Cyril and insisted they went their separate ways but Cyril would not agree. He was able to convince Diamond for him to tag along to ensure she got home safely and also help out in case she needed some help with carrying Demel inside.
He told her Nick, the birthday boy, was his first cousin and he was on his way home when he met the accident. And he admitted he acted on impulse because it was not like he knew the car. Indeed, he just loved to help, that was how he was. Diamond was convinced he was not a bad person and allowed him to tag along.
When she arrived home finally, Cyril helped her take Demel inside and later exchanged contacts with her. It was after she had dialled his number in his presence so he could also save her number that they both realised they already had each other’s number saved on their phones as ‘wrong number.’ There had been one night, quite some time ago, when he had called her number accidentally, evidently looking for his friend’s sister.
“Wow, I thought you sounded awfully familiar, now I get it,” Cyril said with a smile.
“Now I also understand why your voice sounded familiar.”
“Did you get any luck that night locating your friend’s sister?” Diamond asked with a smile.
“Yes, I did. Thanks.”
Cyril bid her goodnight and left swiftly.
Tears suddenly filled her eyes as she locked up. The near-fatal experience was really getting to her and the fact that the man she loved drove when he knew he was drunk thereby putting her in danger really got to her.
She removed Demel’s clothes and shoes, still with tears in her eyes and took a long bath and went to sleep beside Demel just to keep an eye on him.
