ALEXANDER AKOTO ADJEI
THE COFFIN MAKER
EPISODE 100
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Eeeeeiiii Mike what at all do you want in this world? Ever since you stepped your two left legs in this room everything has not been the same, it has been one problem to another and as if that is not enough, you have gone to bring your lover or whatever here. You have the audacity to…….
Henrietta Barnor:
Excuse me young lady, please who are you and what are you talking about?
Quincy:
Herty please relax for me to handle this in my own way.
Maabena Boaduwaa: Handle what in what way? Quincy, what at all has Mike given you to eat that doing his biddings has become your topmost priority like that? Why have you chosen to……
Quincy:
(cuts in quickly) Maabena one more word from you and I will walk you out of this room. What the hell has come over you lately? Do you even know who the lady seated there is? What has come over you?
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Everything has come over me Quincy, so because of Mike you now see me as a second option right? I know the lady seated in that sofa is the girlfriend of Mike and Mike happens to be your gay partner so to speak.
Quincy:
(screams) Enough of this madness Maabena. How dare you open that gutter you call a mouth to utter such trash. I can see you don’t need deliverance but rather a crusade. You don’t need a bottle of anointing oil but rather a barrel of it, you don’t need a prophet to deliver you but rather a host of angels to lay their hands on you. You are not alright up there, it seems the blue wire in your head has touched the red wire, you better walk out from this room before I descend heavily on you.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
So you have now graduated into a woman beater also Quincy? Mike is what you have turned my man into now?
Michael Ansah:
I think I have had enough of this Maabena, there is a limit to what every human being can take. You can call me all manner of names but for you to call me a gay is highly unacceptable, your insults have gotten to the brim and I’m afraid if you utter one more word I will put my gentleness aside and do the unthinkable to you.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Oh so because you are a gay you are also a woman beater? Well don’t forget I have you in my palms like a remote and with just a press on the red button, the soldier man and his men will come chasing after you. I believe you know what I’m saying is not a joke. You can call it an assurance but its not a threat, I will make your life very unbearable for you if you don’t stay away from my man, I will……. (Quincy grabs Maabena and starts to kiss her violently and she responds affirmatively)
Michael Ansah:
Herty please let’s excuse them. (walks out with Herty)
Henrietta Barnor:
Mike what was that about? You have got a lot of explaining to do. Tell me about the things the lady was saying in there, are you gay?
Michael Ansah:
Hell no!!! Why would I leave the pretty ladies around and go in for my fellow man who is rigid and has the same thing I have on my body? Ah how disgusting it would be my dear. If you followed the things that went on in the room closely, you would discover that Maabena has been suffering from desperation and you could see how she returned the kiss Quincy gave her.
Henrietta Barnor:
Hahahahaha I saw it, she was kissing Quincy like her life depended on the kiss but on a more serious note you have to start finding for yourself a new place. I think all she was doing in there was for you to move out from that place so that she can be having her man anytime she wants. My dad has a two bedroom apartment that is not been occupied by anyone at the moment, I can speak to him so he gives you the keys to the place if you want.
Michael Ansah:
My dear that is a laudable idea but I have already paid for a place which is under renovation currently. I wanted to surprise you with that on your birthday. All the same thanks for thinking about me, you have proven to me that you mean well for me or better still us. Honestly, if I leave you may thunder fire me and I’m saying that in the voice of Kidi.
Henrietta Barnor:
Awwwww so lovely and I can’t wait for you to walk me down the aisle because I can see you have got the juice and fire. Thank you to Albert who did me wrong, he led me to you and now that I have your love, I’m here to stay.
Michael Ansah:
(plants a passionate kiss on Herty’s lips for the first time and as it was going on the police officer walks in and clears his throat) Oh director! Couldn’t you wait for at least 30 seconds more before you stole my moment?
Police Officer:
Sorry sir, madam your dad phoned and he wanted to know where we were because he said he was tracking us with the GPS on the car and he has seen that we had been at one place for quite some time now. I didn’t know what to say so I pretended the network was bad and I cut the phone call to sought your opinion first.
Henrietta Barnor:
That was smart. Don’t worry I will call him right away and tell him where we are. Give me a few minutes to join you guys in the car so we go.
Police Officer:
Very well madam. (walks away)
Michael Ansah:
Are you going to be in any trouble if your dad gets to know you came to see your boyfriend?
Henrietta Barnor:
Trouble? From where? Do I look like a kid to you Mr Ansah? Get ready because when I tell him I came to see you, the family will like to see you and get to know you better.
Michael Ansah:
(looking worried) Really?
Henrietta Barnor:
Hey don’t give me that face, my father is friendly when he is in the house. He is only different when he is in his uniform but when he comes home, he is a dad, a friend and a confidant. You will like my mum also because she is easy going. You will see everything for yourself when you come home.
Michael Ansah:
(gives a smile) I’m okay now with the assurance you just gave me. I was wondering how I was going to face the almighty regional commander. I was a bit scared when you raised the subject.
Henrietta Barnor:
Mhmmm talking about you being scared, what are you going to do about the pictures and evidence you have in there? Are you going to report to the police or what?
Michael Ansah:
Hmmmmmm the truth is I want to just stay in my shell, you know Ghana police and how they do their things, if I make that move they will only delay and if am not lucky my identity will be released into the public domain and I will be on the radar of the culprits. Honestly that man you saw on the screen is highly connected and very powerful, I have escaped his fury twice and I don’t know if the third time I will be able to escape again.
Henrietta Barnor:
Do you want to win favour in the sight of my dad?
Michael Ansah:
Of course my Queen.
Henrietta Barnor:
Then this is your ticket to his heart and mind, my dad was appointed to be the regional commander because of this very case and ever since he took up the position, the IGP has been on his neck to bring the culprits to book. Even if you won’t do it for my dad, do it for the deceased. Imagine he was your friend, brother or your colleague at work. I cried the day I met his pregnant wife at my dad’s office, she has a two year baby girl and is carrying triplets as at now. Who is going to take care of them now that her husband is no more? Please I’m begging you to reconsider your decision and take that bold step for her, I know my dad will protect your identity for no man to get to know who provided the information.
Michael Ansah:
Babe, can you give me a little time to think about it?
Henrietta Barnor:
I have heard you but please don’t keep me waiting for too long because justice must be served and served cold to the culprits behind this heart wrenching murder. If I’m to go any further, that guy happens to be my cousin but my family has kept it out of the public domain because if the IGP gets to know of that, my dad will be posted to a different region because they know he will be working with emotions attached to it.
Back in Quincy Room:
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Ahhhhhhhhh please give it to me baby, I want it rough and bloody this afternoon.
Quincy:
Shhhhhhh lower your voice Abena, Mike and Herty might not be far from this place.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Do I look like I care, mtchewwwwwww, please push it in because am wet and very horny. Ever since Mike came over I haven’t got this opportunity and I don’t remember the last time I had an orgasm like I’m having right now.
Quincy:
Turn and let me give you the doggy style then, I want to be spanking your fat ass when am banging you.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
I love it when you talk naughty, let me take my bra off as well. I can’t wait for you to be pressing and smooching my boobs when you are banging me from behind. Today I will make the transformer in your head blow with the mind-blowing sex I will give you.
Back at Quincy Compound:
Michael Ansah:
I am ready to do your bidding my lady, I will tell your dad everything I saw that night and I will come along with the phone and laptop to back my claims. Your cousin’s death must end those illegal deals and even if it will even cause my death, so be it. I am ready to testify anywhere in the world just for justice to prevail, believe me on that my love.
Henrietta Barnor:
(plants a kiss on Mike’s lips) Thank you very much Mike, you don’t know how happy I am at the moment. Your statement will make you win favour both from my mum and dad. My dad will be free from the IGP’s pressure whiles my mum will also get justice for her nephew. Let me rush home so we start to prepare your coming to the house.
Michael Ansah:
I have to also go and see a friend who has lost her mum and give her the breakdown of the important task she gave me to do for her, we will talk on the phone when I return.
Henrietta Barnor:
Okay my king, please take care of yourself and stay away from trouble especially from that lady inside with Quincy. I will be expecting your call later in the evening. (walks away)
Michael Ansah:
(looks at Herty and talks to himself) Herh, I can’t believe this lady has fully fallen for me now, imagine I have undressed her and she is in my arms. I can lick the sole of her feet even if she orders me to do it, Julia’s body is good but Herty’s body is the best. If I’m given an option to choose between heaven and that body, without a single doubt and looking back, I will simply go in for Herty. Heaven can wait because on this earth this is already a garden of Eden. Let me get my phone and wallet so I check up on Julia. (walks to the door and meets some moaning and sounds of catchy coming from Quincy’s room)
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Ahhhhhhhhhh, ohhhhhhhhh, give it to me baby boy, hit it hard, yeah hit the spot harder and faster please, oh yeah, destroy it, awwwwww give to me, thank you, baby, you are splitting me into two, thank you very much darling, you are sweet papa, please don’t leave me for any other lady, mmmmmmm you are the man, my African tiger, tear me apart and don’t have mercy on me, I will do anything on this earth to keep you forever and if any one born of a woman comes closer I will kill that person.
Michael Ansah:
(talking to himself behind the door) Hahahaha so this was what you were looking forward to get all this while and you think I have been a stumbling block to you erh, don’t worry your head at all because I will be out of here very soon. This hot afternoon look at how you are speaking in tongues and trying to pull the roof down with your ecstasy. Should I knock or wait till they are done?
Quincy:
Ssssssshhhhhhhhh babe lower your voice, the moaning is too much and someone might get to hear you and know what we are doing. Please turn and sit on it so we do the cowgirl style a little.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Does it look like am bothered? Are we kids that someone will beat us for having sex? My dear lie down fast and let me sit on it before my libido is turned off, I was about to hit my second orgasm when you pulled it out.
Quincy:
Today you will see and experince the stuff that I am made off, abi you claim I have been starving you of sex for a long time now.
Maabena Boaduwaa: Aaaaahhhhh holy Mary full of grace, accept me as your daughter when I die, gosh baby you are f**king long, have you been taking this enlargement pills? I am feeling your thing in my throat and I feel like throwing up.
Quincy:
So should I take it out?
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Hell no!!! Please don’t stop what you are doing and awwwwwsh I can’t breathe, babe hold my boobs and squeeze it for me a bit, oh my God, Quincy you killing meeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!.
Michael Ansah:
(talking to himself still) Ah Quincy you too take it easy on her, do you want to kill her or what? I have been standing here for close to 20minutes and it doesn’t look like you are blowing the final whistle for this match to end any time soon. How long do I have to wait because the sky isn’t looking friendly and time is also running very fast, please hurry up. I equally left my phone inside the room and I can’t signal him so he gets the things I need inside there for me. I don’t think I can wait any longer my brother. (knocks at the door)
Quincy:
(holds still for a while) Who is at the door?
Michael Ansah:
Jack it’s me, I want to come for somethings inside there so I visit Julia.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Ah wrong fucking timing, I was about hitting my orgasm and he has stolen my freaking moment again. If I talk I will be tagged as a nag, this bullshit must stop and I mean now. Let me go and meet him at the door and tell him my peace of mind.
Quincy:
You will do no such thing, my dear, just lie down and cover yourself with the cloth, he will be gone in a short while. (wears his jeans and heads to the door)
Michael Ansah:
Director please get me my phone, wallet and the brown envelope we brought from the funeral home. I want to go and see Julia so that she sees the progress of things, I don’t want her to worry on unnecessary things for now.
Quincy:
(wipes the sweat on his face) I would have loved to go with you but…….
Michael Ansah:
(cuts in) No need to worry yourself, I know you have an important business to take care of inside there but please tell her to tone her voice down. Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has petitioned the supreme court to pass a law concerning over moaning when two people are doing the thing, I believe you understand me because you can’t be having your pleasure and be disturbing the fundamental happiness of others.
Quincy:
(looks at Maabena on the bed before talking) Was she making to much noise? Did you hear the things she was saying?
Michael Ansah:
No I heard the things my grandmother was saying, you, don’t take your time and use anger to throw your waist about, you will kill someone’s daughter. I don’t know if you are now having a chainsaw in between your legs that you are using to split her into two, when you finally split her into two with your machine down there, I will be far from here. Don’t say I didn’t throw a sign of caution to you. (walks away)
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Babe if he is gone can we please continue?
Quincy:
No my dear, my libido has gone off and your unwarranted moaning has placed us in a spotlight where everybody around has gotten a fair share of the thing we were doing inside here.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
Oh so you wanted me to be mute and not to express how I was feeling huh? Some of you men are highly unpredictable if we moan trouble and if we keep mute too wahala. Tell me what you men want from us now.
Quincy:
Oh so now you are comparing me to some other men, erh? You are giving me the impression that you have been cheating on me all this while, I believe that is why you feel insecure when you come here. You think I am also in the habit of chasing around everything in a skirt so you come here accusing me falsely.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
There you again, what did Mike tell you that has tuned your mind from me all of a sudden and you are now accusing me of flirting around? Whatever that guy has done to you or given to you to consume, I Abena Boaduwaa I will get to the bottom of it. Nobody will take you away from me and I won’t let go of you after you have tasted my thing and enlarged it with the timber in between your legs. You have a very nice way of runining the very nice moment we get to share together. If that Mike guy has used voodoo on you, I will use my menses and urine to get you back. (starts dressing up)
At the University Hospital in the States:
Doctor:
Ma’am looking at the report in front of me, your daughter is getting stronger with every second that passes by and I must confess that I’m very surprised with how her health condition has improved tremendously. Based on the medical report here, I hereby clear your daughter from hazard or any medical setbacks, she is very okay and you can go back to Ghana any moment from now.
Akua Yankey:
Ah, this is good news doctor, thank you very much for everything that you have been doing for my daughter. I can’t wait to get to Ghana because the weather here is too cold and my rheumatism also has not been friendly to me.
Doctor:
Talking of that I got you some drugs which will fight that problem in your system, here is yours and this bag also contains medicine for you beautiful daughter. Please see to it that she doesn’t miss a dose so that her memory problem can be solved on time.
Akua Yankey:
My God, that I serve will continue to bless you and your medical team, you have been fabulous and your reception is second to none. Words alone can’t describe how amazed I am, my husband will hear of your goodness when I get to Ghana. Bernice what have you gotten to say to the doctor.
Bernice Ansah:
God richly bless you and your medical team, thanks to you I can walk again and I feel stronger than before.
Doctor:
My dear, it is the doing of the Lord so don’t mention, without Him nothing is possible.
Akua Yankey:
I have to get in touch with the airline so they get us a ticket back to Ghana as soon as possible.
Doctor:
I can do that for you if you have chosen the day you want to travel back to your country. I’m told Ghana is a very nice place with friendly and welcoming people. The time I was given an invitation to your country, my wife was heavily pregnant so I couldn’t travel to your country but on my coming leave, My entire family and I will take our vacation there.
Akua Yankey:
I assure you that you will love every single part of your stay there ranging from our reception, foods, drinks and the interesting tourist sites we have in my country. Once again thank you very much, sir, I won’t take much of your time since there are others who want to see you.
Doctor:
Okay ma’am, I will send someone to convey any message the airline gives to me to you and I entreat you to also start packing your things because when we call the airlines from the hospital they usually treat it with a matter of urgency. Enjoy the rest of the day.
At the Mansion of the Boss:
Albert:
Dad you sent for me.
The Boss:
Oh yes I did, Julia just sent me a text message with her address.
Albert:
(cuts in) Hahahaha this girl doesn’t know she has dug her own grave. Please let me have the address so I pay her a surprise visit with some of the boys. It will be a delight to inflict pain on her disrespectful body, I will feel fulfilled seeing her beg for mercy.
The Boss:
Son in our line of business you don’t just attack like any animal, the eagle, cobra and lion don’t just attack their prey without a very calculated assessment, by so doing, you never miss your target. Have you ever seen the police in front of my gate even though I do illegal businesses? It’s because I do my things at the very right time and I don’t leave any traces behind. Your rushing and rage to capture that young lady is only meant for amateurs who want to please their bosses or superiors. Son in this our business when you rush, you and a man who has gone in for a very fat woman are the same, if you rush her without allowing her to open her legs up for you, you will end up feasting at the wrong place where you will embarrass yourself in the long run. Julia has lost her mum and now we are paying her a visit as sympathizers so that she feels secure with us around. On Friday when the funeral and burial service is going on is when we will unleash our fury on her. No one will see that coming and nobody will suspect us.
Albert:
Ah I wasn’t thinking that way at all.
The Boss:
You young guys are always filled with youthful exuberance and you rush in taking decisions that leave you vulnerable. Your dad here is a playmaker and game changer so learn from him fast now that you have the opportunity to do so, I never got anyone to mentor me during my lay days.
Albert:
I’ve found myself to be the luckiest child on earth to have the baddest man on earth as my dad. I won’t put you to shame ever on this earth, you will soon see that your blood flows in me and I’m your true replica.
The Boss:
I love it when you talk like the son that you are to me, I swear I love it, oh yeah I love it. Now get the boys ready, we will be stepping out soon. I’m taking a quick shower. Tell Ginola to call the supermarket which supplies us with water and drinks and inform them that I need a hundred and fifty cartons of bottled water, a hundred cartons of non-alcoholic canned drinks and fifty cartons of alcoholic canned drinks. They should send the things to the address I have forwarded to him via text message.
Albert:
Why dad, do you plan of throwing a party that I know nothing about?
The Boss:
Junior I just told you that we have to lure Julia to our side before we attack, this gesture is for us to be seen as the good guys. Doing this will take suspicions far from us when we attack finally.
Albert:
Oh, why didn’t I see this earlier on?
The Boss:
Its because you are not paying attention, you are only throwing your fist in the air. Relax and learn from the best now that I am alive and actively playing the game, I won’t be there for you forever so man up and wisen up my son. We are going with the V8 cars so let them wash them and be on standby then get ready yourself because we are going to greet Julia’s family and I don’t have to tell you what to wear. Karl Simpson will join us there.
Albert:
Consider it done dad, I will be waiting for you over here ready even before you step out of your room. You know you keep long in the bathroom.
The Boss:
Nonsense, I won’t be there for long today. (smiles and walks away)
At Quincy’s End:
Quincy:
Abena why the rush, you claim I don’t get or have time for you these days. I’m here with you and you are rushing to leave this place, what you are doing is not fair oooo.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
I will be with you when you prioritise me as the most important thing on earth. The day that stumbling block leaves your house, I will pack my things and join here. Because you don’t have time for me, I postponed my leave at work until further notice. When you man up enough, you know Abena is always yours even though you have been mining her illegally.
Quincy:
Babe things will change soon but at least you should prepare some stew down for me to enjoy before leaving me.
Maabena Boaduwaa:
If you were living alone, I would have gladly prepared varieties of stews and soups for you with my own money, after all it would be my man who will be eating it but since that goat is still squatting here with you, my dear forget it. I am not going to be serving two masters in the same ship Mr lover boy, I am out of here. (pushes Quincy and walks out of the room)
Quincy:
(talks to himself) Why has Maabena all of a sudden developed a passion of hate towards Mike like that? They were cool with each other sometime back or is there anything she is not telling me? Well women are like that, today they play with you then tomorrow the frown at you as if you have taken their joy away from them. I will talk with Mike for us to take money from the company’s account so that he rents a place for himself, by so doing all this enmity will end and everyone will be happy especially with that lizard in between my legs, Jack you will soon gain your freedom.
At Julia Cousin’s Place:
Maame Dufie:
Ah welcome Mike, I thought you will not come again looking at the weather and how unfriendly it looks. Did you find it difficult locating this place?
Michael Ansah:
Even if it started raining stones, I will still pass through and be here. Talking about the difficulty in locating this place, the Ghana Post GPS made it easy for me, if not I would go round and round this neighbourhood without seeing this place.
Maame Dufie:
Am glad you are here, all the same, I thought you would come with your brother.
Michael Ansah:
(plays smart) Oh I made him to go and oversee some other important thing concerning this funeral, you know time is our greatest enemy here. Where is she?
Maame Dufie:
Well you are very right, she is in the room with some secondary school mates who came to sympathise with her. I don’t know how the news travelled so fast that people keep flooding this place like that. Those people seated at the extreme corner are workers and former colleagues of my aunt, they got here even before we got to this place from the funeral home. Please before you go in don’t forget to sign in the book of condolence.
Michael Ansah:
But I never met your aunt when she was alive so what do I write in there?
Maame Dufie:
Mmmmmm you can write a love letter there, don’t bring yourself, young man.
Michael Ansah:
Herh, so at this crucial time you still have got jokes under your sleeves, that is very impressive you know.
Maame Dufie:
Well, my late dad was a comedian, now start writing something before we go in. I’m hungry and need to eat something, I know you are equally hungry looking at your face and how dry it looks.
Michael Ansah:
It’s very true but I will wait for sometime before eating. I have to do the needful first.
Maame Dufie:
I will be inside then, please don’t write any professor’s grammar there because we don’t have any dictionary in this house.
Julia:
(escorts her mates out) Thank you guys for coming over to sympathize with me, you don’t know how I value your visit. If you are not able to pass by again, I will be expecting you guys on Friday during the funeral.
Ophelia:
Julia what’s the colour for that day?
Maame Dufie:
We are doing all black my dear. I would love to see your husband that day and tell him I’m still waiting for my pizza.
Julia:
Your aunt is dead and you still have an appetite to eat.
Maame Dufie:
Mary fed when Jesus Christ died so let me be wai. Ophelia tell Kwame that if he doesn’t get my pizza he should run when he see me.
Michael Ansah:
Maame Dufie am done with my love letter, you can read it later. (an unknown person walks in)
Unknown Person:
Good day, please I’m after Julia Ohenewaa Dotse.
Maame Dufie:
Is anything the problem?
Unknown Person:
No please, a client of the company I work with ordered some drinks and water for you so am here to do the delivery. Actually, I came with one of his boys but he got a call when we got here. It seems the person is also coming here but can’t locate here well.
Julia:
Please may I know who that client is?
Unknown Person:
Actually, I don’t know his real name but the name we all address him with is the Boss. Can you please direct me where we can offload the things to? we have some other deliveries to do before the rain comes down. (Mike all of a sudden feels his neck being strangled by his necklace)
Julia:
Oh that is my boss, please you can bring the things inside and pack it in the kitchen storeroom.
Maame Dufie:
(sees Mike’s problem) Are you okay Mike?
Michael Ansah:
(fakes a smile) Am very okay my dear, can I please use your washroom?
Maame Dufie:
Oh sure go in and use the staircase, the second door on your left is my room. This is the key and mind you the room is scattered so overlook anything you see in there.
Outside Quincy’s House:
Maabena Boaduwaa:
(talking to herself whiles walking on the street) If the animal doesn’t worry you, you equally don’t destroy his hole. Mike I gave my body to you and you bluntly turned my offer down, ever since I saw you, anytime I have sex with Quincy, I have to imagine it is you before I enjoy the sex, when I’m enjoying it too then you will barge in to interrupt my pleasure. Ever since you came into that house, I have never reached the peak of my orgasm and for that I will punish you ruthlessly. I will show you that in the chest of a woman there are a thousand of things hidden there…….
Will Julia be able to survive the Tsunami coming her way?
Who do you think will win Mike’s heart at the end of the day?
Will Mike be able to escape from the Boss and Albert this time around?
What evil thoughts do you think is running through Maabena’s head and what plans do you see her bringing forth?
NB:
The story is about to climax so don’t be left out. Sorry for the slow pace in the movement of the story, three concepts/stories have been joined together to come out with this piece so please bear with me and the longevity.
