Sober Reflections
What is the inheritance of the believer? What does God have for us because of our faith in Jesus Christ?
These questions help us in our walk with God. It is important that we ask such questions in order to know what awaits us on the other side of life.

The inheritance of the saints is the culmination of all of God’s plans, the New Jerusalem and a new earth where God and humanity can live together, making all our earthly time of testing fade into insignificance.
There are several scriptures, a few are below:

• Matt 5:5 – Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. When Christ returns, He will give authority over the earth to those who will rule in humility.
• Prov 13:22 – A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.
•John 14:2-3 – In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
• Hebrews 11:16 – But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city.

Sisters, we have a sure and secure inheritance because of our faith in Christ Jesus.
There is no match for our inheritance in Christ on this earth. There is no wealth on earth that can be compared to our inheritance in glory. For everything on earth is temporary and will decay with the passage of time.
May the Lord give us the understanding to pursue the Will of God for our lives so that we shall fulfil our destiny.

Prayer
Thank You Father God for my inheritance in Christ Jesus.

Holy Spirit, please help me to keep my focus on Jesus and please God in everything that I do in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
