The Royal Garden had a tent-like structure made with painted steel, which was tended carefully and constantly to keep it neat and beautiful.
Whenever the Prince or the Princess wanted to entertain, the huge structure was covered with cotton cloths, and lacy materials to give it an exotic, beautiful look.
The floor was also covered with cushion mats and mattresses and carefully overlaid with spun silk materials and pillows.
The Princess of Cherensua, Akosua Fiti, arrived in the royal Ford car.
The car, long and white, has seen better years, but it was still a machine that represented power and authority as it moved through the village of Densua.
The princess, tall and thin and willowy, was dressed extravagantly in a yellow, black white lacy attire.
She was not beautiful.
She, in fact, looked bony and gangling and had an excessively loud voice that Prince Kwame Obodai could not stand.
However, she and Princess Yaa were very good friends, and so the Prince joined them and his father for a sweet-tasting lunch.
It was no secret that she had always fancied a union with the Prince of Densua, and so most of her visits were just excuses to see him.
After lunch, when the King excused himself, the three royal children retired to the Royal Garden.
“You two should excuse me, please. I have to freshen up a bit. I’ll join you soon,” Princess Yaa said.
They watched her disappear with her maids and Princess Akosua Fiti drew near the Prince.
“So where is this mysterious man who was brought here and has been making all these wonderful designs for places of convenience?”
“Your friend invited him, much against my will, and so I’m quite certain he will show up soon,” the prince said tightly.
“Oh, okay. Yaa told me. Actually, I have something of his. My father asked me to hand it over to him.”
The Prince’s eyes narrowed fractionally.
“And what might that be, my dear?”
Princess Akosua gestured to her driver, who stepped forward with something wrapped in a white calico cloth.
“I don’t really know. I think it is a metallic case of sorts. We found it in the boot of Old Apakye’s car.”
“And how could you be sure it belonged to the stranger?”
“He’s Zack, right? His name is etched into the metal briefcase. Zack Larbi.”
Prince Obodai’s jaw worked suddenly.
The man’s full name is Zack Larbi then.
He called one of his servants and handed the wrapped case to him.
“Go on, put it in my room,”
Princess Akosua looked at the Prince with sudden alarm.
“Dearest me, Kwame! What are you doing? My father instructed me to hand it over to the stranger! I’ve been informed he’s coming here, so I want to give it to him personally, if you don’t mind!”
“Don’t worry, my dear. I’ll give it to him after I’ve had a look at it.”
“But you can’t get into the case, dear. It has a sort of lock on it, and unless you know the code you can’t open it! Believe me, many tried to open it but couldn’t.”
The prince chuckled.
“My dear, I have no intention of opening a case that does not belong to me. I just want the Royal Fetish Priest to pray over it and sanctify it before I give it to that man. There is a bad omen following him, the spiritual leader has said, and everything of his need to be purified.”
Princess Akosua smiled then.
“Yes, dear, if you say so.”
The servant took the covered case and vanished, and shortly afterwards Princess Yaa arrived. She looked absolutely beautiful in a light green and yellow patterned dress, and she stretched out luxuriously on the soft mats.
The conversation became general, but it was evident she was on edge because she kept looking towards the entrance.
Slowly her jovial expressions began to become quite shallow, and it was apparent that she was getting angry.
Prince Obodai chuckled as he tried to draw his thigh away from Princess Akosua’s wandering hand.
“Seems to me that silly stranger is standing you up, dearest sis. What else did you expect anyway? I’m sure you’ve heard by now how he and Kuuku were kissing each other all over the riverside.”
“Shut up, Kwame, please!” Princess Yaa said coldly.
Princess Akosua looked from one to the other, and she clapped her hands with sudden insight.
“Oh, goodness me! Yaa, you’re not interested in this stranger, are you?” she asked with curious eyes.
“Actually, she’s smitten by him!” the prince said and laughed. “I don’t believe she sleeps a wink without thoughts of him constantly torturing her mind!”
“Belt it, Kwame! I don’t like your teasing!” Princess Yaa stated angrily.
“Oh, Yaa! How could you? You’re a princess!” Akosua cried with disdain. “You need someone with royal blood, not any riff-raff!”
“You tell her!” Prince Obodai said.
“And moreover, I hear he’s lost his mind and he is quite raving mad!” Akosua added.
As Prince Obodai and Princess Akosua laughed, Princess Yaa got to her feet crossly, but just then a Royal Announcer appeared at the entrance of the tent.
He bowed, and suddenly Princess Yaa’s face brightened with eagerness.
“Forgive me, Your Majesties. Announcing the presence of Onua Zack, from the household of Opanyin Amoah!”
Princess Yaa slowly sunk back down.
“Bid him enter, please!” Yaa uttered in an unsteady voice.
The Royal Announcer turned and disappeared around the flower plants, and a moment later Zack came into view.
Prince Obodai saw Princess Akosua’s sudden rigidity and heard her sharp intake of breath at the sight of the stranger, and his anger knew no bounds.
Zack was wearing black trousers and a batakari that looked a little short for his long frame, but he looked quite incredible, his handsome features so pronounced that it made the three people gawk at him for a few minutes as he stood there uncertainly.
“Good evening,” he greeted.
Finally, Princess Yaa regained her voice, “Welcome, Zack. Do come in.”
Zack saw their slippers on a mat in front of the beautiful tent-like structure, and he also removed his tyre sandals and entered carefully, his face bland.
Princess Akosua was still staring at him, and she finally gave herself a little shake when he entered and looked at her.
The Prince of Densua was scowling at him with undisguised dislike.
“Well, welcome to the midst of the Royals, Zack,” Obodai stated icily.
“Thank you, Your Majesty.”
“Welcome, Zack. Please meet my friend, Princess Akosua of Cherensua. Akos, this is Zack, the stranger who is doing so much for our village,” Yaa said with a happy smile.
Zack bowed his head once to the Princess.
“Pleased to meet you, Princess.”
“Pleased to meet you too, Zack!” Akosua responded, her voice virtually small.
Princess Yaa made Zack sit on her right side, away from Princess Akosua.
The conversation became relaxed, and after a while the Prince stood up, totally sick of the way the two women seem to be trying to outdo each other to impress the stupid stranger.
“Well, a few things I need to attend to. Enjoy yourselves, young ones! I’ll see you before you leave, Akosua.”
“Oh, what?” Akosua asked absent-mindedly. “Oh, I’ll be leaving tomorrow, Kwame. I’ll see you.”
The Prince frowned.
Normally, Princess Akosua followed him everywhere he went whenever she visited. But now it seemed she was not inclined to be with him, being so besotted with the stupid Zack. The Prince quickly left and headed straight to his room. In a rage, he tore off the cloth around the metal case Princess Akosua had brought.
There was the case, and then there was a little silver metal box with a little padlock on it.
He laid both of them on the bed.
His attention, however, was on the case, and he stared at it with a mixture of awe, envy and anger. It was a most beautiful case, and it looked very expensive.
It was shiny black with gold linings around its edge.
He saw that its edges were overlaying, shut so tightly that no knife could open it. He saw what looked like a digital interface on one side of it, near the handle.
There were no keyholes or fastenings.
Only the digital surface. On each side of the glass surface are tiny yellow, green and red lights, blinking intermittently.
Just as the Princess said, there was a name in beautiful gold carving on the lower side of the case: ZACK LARBI.
As the Prince stared at the incredible case, it slowly dawned on him that this Zack might either be a crook, or a very wealthy and notable fellow.
He tried and tried, but could not open the case.
The more he forced it, the more the digital interface flashed and the more rapid the tiny lights flashed and emitted a beeping warning.
Finally, he gave up and paced the room impatiently.
He so much wanted to see what was inside that case.
He picked up the silver metal box.
A hefty blow with a hammer broke the small padlock, and he opened it.
He stared at the contents, and a crafty little smile played around the edges of his mouth.
“Well, well, well, what do we have here?” he uttered with a cruel glint in his eyes.
Meanwhile, after almost two hours of chatting, Princess Yaa stood up and stretched.
“Come on, Zack. Let me show you around the garden,” Yaa verbalized unsteadily.
Princess Akosua looked startled and gazed at her friend, but only received a conspiratorial wink from Yaa.
Zack looked at the Princess and sighed with exasperation.
He knew it was not going to be any ordinary sight-seeing around the garden.
He sighed, knowing that he could not disobey her without making her angry.
Opanyin Amoah had a little talk with him that late afternoon before he set off for the palace.
He had warned Zack to be careful and wary of the Princess, and not do anything to anger her because in her anger she might do something that might negatively affect the Medicine Man and members of his family.
He stood up and followed the Princess.
She told her maids not to follow her.
She took him deep into the exotic garden until they come to a small log building standing on the edge of a beautiful pool of water which had beautiful small rocks lining its bottom, and was clear and inviting.
“Wow. This is beautiful.”
“Yes, this is my favourite place. Sometimes when I feel lonely or down or just want to be by myself, I come here.”
He followed her to the door of the log cabin.
She opened it and turned to face him.
He sighed with sudden apprehension as he saw the fast rise and fall of her breasts.
“Shouldn’t we be getting back, Your Majesty?” Zack asked in a worried voice.
She scowled with sudden anger. “Zack! What did we discuss?” she asked crossly.
“Yaa. Please, let’s go back,” he answered with a sheepish smile.
She turned and entered the cabin.
“Come in, Zack. I’m not going to rape you or eat you or swallow you! You’re very infuriating, do you know that? Do you know how many men will be enthralled to be in the Royal Garden with me?”
Zack sighed and entered.
Indeed, it was an inviting room.
There was a clean synthetic carpet on the floor.
There is an earthenware pot of water, a table and a chair, and a very inviting bed.
Princess Yaa suddenly shut the door, grabbed Zack, and pushed him onto the bed.
Zack, alarmed, tried to sit up, but she was suddenly all over him, slipping her arms around his neck.
“Please, please, Princess! Please, wait, let’s discuss this!” he cried with alarm.
She sat up suddenly and glared at him with sudden mean eyes, and Zack knew with a sinking feeling in the depths of his stomach that she was cruel inwardly.
“Listen, Zack. I’ve heard about you and Kuuku, my friend. I’ve heard what you two did at the riverside. I know Kuuku very well. She has never liked any man. She has even been spurning my brother’s advances. If you love her, that is okay. I’m not going to force you to leave her. I’m quite infatuated with you. I don’t love you, no, but physically I find you very attractive. We have two choices here. We pretend we’re alone in the forest, have a very good time, and go our separate ways, and I won’t worry or approach you again. But, if you refuse me, I’ll tell my father you raped me. You’ll find yourself in our dungeons, and it’s not going to be you alone! Kobby, Opanyin Amoah, his wife, and your precious Kuukuwaa would all be disgraced and imprisoned, and even chased out of town. You might also end up castrated, and when I say castrated I don’t mean only your balls. They’ll take your manhood away too, for trying to destroy the honour of the Princess of Densua. It’s your choice, Zack!”
Zack was suddenly miserable.
He looked at her with pleading eyes.
“Listen, Yaa, please, my Precious –”
Her eyes glinted at him with cruelty, and her lips pressed together angrily.
“Don’t you dare patronize me, Zack! I want my fun, and you’re going to give it to me, or I swear you’ll lose everything! Don’t you dare me! You don’t know what I can do!”
Zack sighed and remained still.
Well, if that is the way she wants to play it, then fine. He had no urge for her, and he did not believe that if she forced herself on him, he will even get an erection. If she tried and tried and he did not get an erection she would leave him alone and forever think of him as being impotent but he really did not care.
It was Kuukuwaa he loved, and it was only her he will be with.
She smiled sweetly and approached the table.
There was a blue gourd on it, and a calabash lying on its side.
She poured a whitish liquid from the gourd into the calabash and brought it to him.
“What is it?” he asked suspiciously.
The princess smiled.
“Unfermented palm wine, dear. It is a custom for our women to give it as a sign of love to a man they’re going to be with for the first time. You must drink it.”
Zack looked at her suspiciously. She chuckled, shook her head, and drank almost half of the palm wine, then handed it to him. Zack drank the rest and gave her the calabash.
She approached the table and put it down.
Zack suddenly felt a warmth spread passing through him, and suddenly he felt a great urge to be nasty! He moaned with sudden horror as his penis shot up hungrily in his trousers.
His body tingled, and he felt an urgent need to have her.
He fought it hard, shaking his head numbly with horror, but the Princess only laughed as she unzipped her dress and peeled it off. She was wearing a red brassiere and red panties, and she looked so delectable indeed.
She unhooked her bra and took it off, exposing the proud mounds of her breasts and their roseate nipples!
Zack was helpless as the sweat of desire drenched his body.
“What the hell was in the drink?”
The princess was panting in ecstasy.
“The most potent and vibrant aphrodisiac in the world, my dear, for both men and women! Whatever you’re feeling, I’m feeling same!”
She suddenly pulled off her panties and approached him.
Zack was like an automaton as he ripped off his clothes.
He moaned with horror, still fighting the drugs, but it was a losing battle.
She fell on her knees in front of him, took his turgid member, and stuck it in her mouth. He groaned with bestial desire as the powerful drug fully took over his senses. He squeaked with animal desire and grabbed her.
She giggled, moaning with unbridled lust, and leaned over the bed with her incredible buttocks toward him. Zack grunted, lost in the throes of unbearable lust, and entered her hard! And, like two beasts, they had the most violent sex ever, over and over again!
The man called Zack was lost as the manipulative princess controlled him through the aphrodisiac, and even though his mind told him dully that he had just put Kuukuwaa and her family into a very dangerous situation that will definitely bring his world crumbling, he could not stop himself!
He was like a man bewitched…
And the princess, even grunting in her passion and ecstasy, had a cruel look on her face knowing that she now wielded the most powerful weapon over this handsome stranger and over Kuks.
