EPISODE 33
[passster password=”etwekum”]Elaine Boateng gasped when the speedboat moved at incredible speed across the sea towards the huge cliff.
Frank Williams was at the wheel. He was wearing white shorts, white sneakers and a brilliant shirt with many leaves coloured differently. The shirt was open, showing his bare, strong chest.
This was the third time they were meeting, and Elaine was already blown off her feet by the depths of his wealth. Most importantly, he did not have relatives in Ghana as far as she could tell. This was shaping up to be a good payoff.
The cliff they were headed for was a solid rock that jutted out of the sea and reared majestically up. It was covered with green moss and up there was green vegetation.
Elaine, wearing a short black dress that had no arms but a strap around her neck, held on grimly as the boat moved towards the rock. The wind lashed the dress around her legs, raising it up several times to reveal her sheer, white panties.
They had not even kissed yet, but their meetings had been full of promise. He had taken her out on shopping sprees, out to dinners, and out to dance at exotic places she never knew existed in Takoradi.
He spent money freely in a show of careless opulence that impressed Elaine very much. And this afternoon, he had decided to send her to a place he had just bought.
And so, he had taken her to the harbour and helped her get into his speedboat, and they had shot across the sea at moderate speed, conversing lightly and drinking.
However, the moment the huge rock came into view, he had eased the throttle forward almost all the way, and the speedboat had shot off like a bullet! Nearer and nearer the great rock loomed in front of them, and still, Frank Williams kept the frightening speed.
Elaine had been smiling, but as the boat flew towards the rock, the smile slowly disappeared off her face and she looked at Frank Williams with increasing apprehension that quickly turned to fear.
“Frank?” she whispered fearfully when it became imminent that he was going to smash into the rock. “Frank, what’re you doing? Frank!”
He turned his head and laughed at her, and that was when Elaine began to scream, sure that he was going to crash into the rock and kill them!
She continued screaming as her mind tried to fathom out who this man was! Why did he want to kill her? What was happening? She knew she had to jump into the water but she feared the sea! What if it was deep in here? She would drown for sure!
“Stop it, Frank!” she screamed shrilly. “Stop it! Oh, please, stop it!”
Suddenly, he pointed a device at the rock and pushed a button. A rectangular part of the rockface rose up majestically, revealing a cave-like entrance that Frank expertly moved the speedboat into.
He laughed gently at her; his handsome face filled with mirth as Elaine sank down slowly into her seat. Her heart was beating wildly and her body shook uncontrollably.
She smiled sheepishly and conceded that had been a great rush of adrenalin! She was beginning to like the reckless ways of Frank Williams, and her eyes glazed as she looked at his laughing face.
Elaine looked around her with wonder. The entrance dropped behind them, sealing them in, and she looked at the wonderful recessed lights fixed into the rock face, casting an incredible glow over the serene water they were gliding through. It felt like being inside a giant aquarium.
The trip through the rock was serpentine, but Frank expertly manoeuvred the speedboat through until they suddenly burst out of the rock, and in front of her was an incredible island, and on it was a spectacular building that looked like a semi-castle!
This was like heaven!
The amazing garden surrounding the building was surreal! She could see a helicopter landing a little far off, and there was a real helicopter standing right there!
“Oh, my God!” Elaine whispered with awe, feeling her knees going weak at such incredible splendour.
Frank Williams eased the speedboat into a small harbour where two bigger and luxurious boats were already moored. He killed the engine and threw the rope around a mooring pillar, and then he turned towards her with a broad grin and ripped off his shirt completely.
“Do you like it, darling?” he asked huskily.
Elaine almost had tears in her eyes as she reached up with trembling hands and pulled the strap of her dress above her head, and slowly peeled it down, revealing her incredible breasts and her hardened nipples.
“Oh, Frank!” she whispered with awe. “This is simply magic! I love it!”
And in her mind, she pictured living here with Steve, all theirs, raising their family. She would let Wailer know that this island was hers, and Steve’s! He could keep all the monies they would get from this deal, but the island and all that was on it was going to be for her and Steve!
She groaned when he took her in his arms. Their first kiss was hard and fierce, and she could feel his erection against the pit of her belly as his hands moved deliciously across her breasts.
Elaine’s hands dove down and expertly unbuckled his shorts, unzipped it, and pushed it down. Her fevered hands went into his boxers and held his throbbing lance.
Her soft hand moved across it, tugging and caressing, causing him to moan with unrestrained lust. His hands were in her panties, and he grabbed her round, pert buttocks and massaged them gently before his hand clamped on her wet core, flicking her slick excited knob deliciously.
She sighed with desire!
At least this one knew how to give pleasure, and she was going to give him pleasure as he began his painful and fatal journey with lethal snake venom. Today, he would enjoy, yes, for a few days more, and then his treatment would begin.
“Enjoy it whilst it lasts, Frankie,” she said in her mind as he pushed her on the seat, parted her legs, and put his lips on her, flicking his tongue expertly against her excited clit and making her moan with desire as she wrapped her wonderful legs around his neck.
She moaned deeper and deeper as he worked her, and when he reared up finally and impaled her, she moved her hips into him, gasping as his sweet girth filled her up.
And, right there in the middle of the speedboat, they tried their best to kill each other with wanton sex!

Eyram kept calling her number and Jonathan’s number with a small phone she had at home, but both phones were still off.
She had a terrible night, and woke up early in the morning and got ready.
She was at the central police station before eight o’clock and was informed that the Chief Inspector had been hurt and was on admission at the hospital, but they would not inform her which hospital it was because she was a civilian with no proof that she was acquainted with the chief.
Eyram asked if she could be directed to the Interpol office and was informed by the cold receptionist that civilians could only go there on a prior appointment.
Eyram was frantic now.
She inquired if the receptionist could at least find out if Mr. Rupert Henderson was in, but the woman – who appeared to be new – began to get impatient and told her she would have to leave and come back later with a proper appointment. The information she was asking could obviously not be given to civilians. She turned from Eyram and concentrated on watching the giant television mounted on the wall which was showing the breaking news of the bust of a major drug cartel in Ghana.
Eyram was almost moved to tears as she turned away, but just then she saw two white men in dark suits coming in through the reception. Her face brightened when she saw them. They were Rupert’s boys, the ones who had accompanied them to Barina village. The short, muscular one had been with them the night they took Effe from Steve.
She approached them quickly.
“Hey, Miss, you can’t do that!” the receptionist shouted angrily behind her and got to her feet, but she sat down abruptly when she saw the two Interpol officers smiling at Eyram, and one of them hugging her briefly.
“Miss Kedem, what a surprise,” Toby said brightly as he surveyed Eyram. “Let me guess, you’re looking for the boss, right?”
Eyram nodded shyly as she clamped Rupert’s coat to her chest.
“Yes, please,” she said earnestly. “We had a little misunderstanding, and I’m afraid he’s a bit mad at me.”
“He only gets mad at criminals, Eyram,” Rick, who was closer to her, said. “Actually, he went to the hospital to say goodbye to Chief Inspector Afful.”
“Goodbye?” Eyram asked as her heart thudded with sudden fear.
The two men exchanged glances.
“Well, yeah,” Rick explained. “We’re done here, you know, and he doesn’t want to wait a day more. A private plane is taking him to England this morning.”
Tears threatened to spill down her face, but Eyram stubbornly fought them back.
“I beg of you, I must see him before he leaves,” she said tremulously. “Goodness, he must hate me now to even think of leaving without informing me! Please, help me see him.”
The two men exchanged looks again.
“Take her to the hospital, Ricky,” Tobi said finally, and Rick nodded.
“Come with me then, Eyram,” he said.
“Thank you,” Eyram whispered with great relief.
When she turned, she saw the receptionist looking at her, and Eyram stuck her tongue out at her with a frown on her lovely face.
The receptionist glared furiously at her and watched them go out through the entrance.

Rupert Henderson – dressed impeccably in a black suit, navy-blue shirt, blue-black tie, and shiny, black shoes – had been in the ward for almost forty minutes.
He was sitting on a high-backed chair beside the bed as Jonathan lay on it in his hospital gown and bandaged thigh.
“Well, that’s it then,” Rupert said gently. “Got to move on, buddy.”
Jonathan nodded as he looked at the white man with emotional eyes.
“Great to make your acquaintance, white boy,” he said softly. “And congrats again. You got your man.”
“I usually do,” Rupert said with a smile and stood up. He sighed heavily and clamped a hand to Jonathan’s shoulder. “I’ll never forget you saved my life, buddy. And I’m very sorry for assaulting you. I was not in the right frame of mind, and made a fatal mistake.”
“It’s cool, Rupert,” Jonathan said with a smile. “At least it told me it is safer to be your friend than your enemy. Tell me, did Ruffalo really grab a gun and tried to kill you and you shot him in self-defense?”
A cold smile crossed Rupert’s face.
“Nah, that’s just for television and for my bosses,” he said carefully. “Actually, I murdered him in cold blood. He was not even armed. I just shot his head off.”
Jonathan gasped and shook his head sadly.
“No, man, no,” he said with mild reproach. “Even the most callous of criminals still deserves to be heard in court, man.”
“Rupert shrugged.
“Yeah, sure, but Ruffalo was no callous criminal, man,” he said softly. “He’s killed and tortured many good people in his bloody reign. Apart from that, he did something I could not forgive.”
“What?” Jonathan asked. “Did he kill somebody close to you?”
“Nah,” Rupert answered with a crooked smile. “He spat on my cheek, man.”
“Oh, you bastard!” Jonathan said with genuine shock.
Both laughed, and then Rupert reached into an inner pocket of his coat and brought out a phone and two envelopes. One of the envelopes was marked ‘J’ and he handed it to Jonathan.
The other was marked ‘E’ and he put it on the table and put the phone on it.
“And this is?” Jonathan asked with raised eyebrows.
“I work with unlimited imprest, Jon,” he said quietly. “In my line of work we spend a lot of money to get the bad boys, and most of the time we recompense those who help us fight crime in many capacities. So, consider that as a little token for shutting down the Ruffalo cartel.”
Jonathan flipped the envelope and pulled out the cheque. His eyes widened at the amount written on it.
“Jesus, Rupert, damn!” he said with shock. “Surely, you’re not allowed to give out this much money.”
“I am,” Rupert said with a smile.
“Thank you, man, thank you,” Jonathan said with happiness. “Damn, if this is what I get for taking a bullet in the leg for you, I would have taken it in the head for you, man.”
Again they laughed, and Rupert shook his head.
“Give that to Eyram for me, please,” he said, indicating the envelope and phone. “She left her phone in my car.”
Jonathan scowled deeply.
“Hey, man, hold up!” he said tersely. “What’s going on here? You leaving without saying goodbye to Eyram? Thought you guys had it nailed down!”
Rupert shrugged, and sudden pain crossed his face.
“Nail came off, man,” he said softly.
“Oh, come on!” Jonathan said. “Surely, even if you two fought, you can’t leave town without seeing her, Rupert. You face dangerous criminals easily and you can’t face a woman you fell in love with?”
Rupert’s face was filled with pain and misery.
“You know, my old man once told me that a woman is the most dangerous criminal because she operates directly on your heart,” he said softly and sighed. “So long, Jon. Have a good life. Been great knowing you.”
He turned abruptly and headed for the door.
“Hey, Rupert, c’mon man!” Jonathan called. “You can’t do this to Eyram!”
But Rupert had already opened the door and gone out.
He paused on the corridor and took a deep breath with pain on his face.
He walked towards the elevators, and then Rick came around the corner, and with him was Eyram.
Rupert stopped abruptly.
His heart raced painfully as she walked towards him with his coat in her arms.
She was just like an angel.
When she stopped, he saw tears in her eyes, and she saw tears in his eyes.
“I don’t want to see you right now, Ram,” he said softly.

Effe could not breathe!
Breath was not possible!
She felt the unbearable shafts of pain racing through her eyes and searing through her mind, but that was nothing compared to the agony that was suffusing her.
“No!” she screamed. “No, no! He promised me! Told me he would be the first person I saw when I opened my eyes! Call him, bring him back! Eden, don’t do this to me! Don’t kill me!”
“Effe, Effe, relax, please!” Doctor Anifat said in alarm, and just then the door of the ward opened and the ophthalmologist came in with Effe’s parents.
“No!” Effe cried as she shook her head in distress. “Eden! Bring him back, please!”
Ray Annan held her head suddenly and spoke sharply.
“No, please don’t shake your head, Miss Kedem!” he said sharply. “Dear goodness! You’ll cause irreparable damage to your eyes if you do that! Lie still, please! And do not cry! The tears will only give you sheer agony and delay the healing time, please!”
“No!” Effe wept bitterly. “I don’t care about the pain! I can’t control it, please! Get him back. Bring Eden back, please!”
“Afi!” her mother wept as she sat on the edge of the bed and took her daughter’s hand. “Please, Afi! Don’t stress yourself this way! What is it, my dear daughter?”
“He’s killing my heart, Mama!” Effe whispered in agony. “I love him! I love him so! How could he do this to me?”
“Who?” Ivy cried with confusion. “What’s going on?”
“Calm down, Effe, please!” Ray Annan said again.
But Effe could not calm down.
She knew she had been able to get over Steve because what she thought was love had not really been love, but something her heart had clung to in her darkness.
But this feeling, this pain, was different. She knew, with all her heart, that she was not going to get over this pain, ever!
Eden!
Why?
Oh, Lord, why?
She had heard his screams and heard his agony. She knew he had a story that had driven him from society into the bush, and knew it would take a hard time to get over whatever it was!
But they had discovered something beautiful in the short time they had been together. The forest had been their paradise, and they had overcome their fears of storms, braved the inner turmoil of their souls!
They were a team, a pair of fighters giving each other strength. Without him, she was lost, and without her, he would not survive the jungle!
It was as simple as that!
What didn’t he understand about that? Why didn’t he understand that simple fact? Why had he broken her like this?
The agony was tearing her apart, and she just wanted to scream!
“Eden, Eden!” she cried in agony. “Why? In the name of God why?”
“Hold her head, damn it!” Ray Annan shouted with distress, and Doctor Anifat held Effe’s head tightly.
Ray rushed past a stunned Ken Kedem and went to a cabinet in the corner. Quickly, he took a syringe and picked up an ampoule. A moment later, he approached the bed and jabbed the syringe into Effe’s arm and depressed the plunger.
Tears seeped beneath the bandages around Effe’s eyes, and a look of sheer distress was etched across her beautiful face.
“Eden!” she whispered weakly and painfully as the drug took effect, and then her body went still.
They all stood back with horror.
“Who’s Eden?” Ken Kedem asked with profound horror. “Is he the bush doctor?”
Doctor Anifat looked at him crossly.
“Not a bush doctor, Mr. Kedem,” she said coldly. “The professional doctor who saved your daughter’s life.”
“And she says she loves him?” Ken asked hoarsely. “But he’s an ugly old man!”
Doctor Ray Annan looked at him and chuckled briefly.
