It was not that Okakuo had not had many offers from willing and beautiful women in the past, but his heart had been for only one woman, and he had known that until the princess got married, he could never be with another woman.
It was a sweet, gentle, awkward kiss that became stronger, firmer and intense as they continued, building up into a frenzy that would probably have blown them away if Okakuo hadn’t stepped back with a herculean effort and looked at Princess Uvbi Akenzua in a despairing manner.
“Oh, my Princess!” he said with a great sigh. “Not like this!”
She nodded, still trembling, her eyes dancing with joy as she looked at him with all the world’s love in her eyes.
“Go, Kak,” she murmured tremulously.
“You love me?” he asked uncertainly, and she smiled and put a hand against his right cheek lovingly.
“I love only you,” she whispered.
He nodded, and then he picked up the mask plates and the padlocks and quickly fled from the garden.
There was a song in the heart of Princess Uvbi Akenzua as she took her shower that night, and she slept soundly with a smile on her face and knew real happiness and love for the first time that night.
If she had known what transpired when Okakuo Agbons left the garden, perhaps she would not have had that happy smile on her face!
She didn’t know that there had been a strange white wall gecko against one of the trees in the Tower Garden. This gecko had multi-coloured eyes that looked like dashes of rainbow, and that it had watched their kiss with evil intent until they parted, and then it scurried down the tree, scuttled through the leaves, climbed a wall and finally slithered through a slit in the wall, eventually emerging outside the wall of the Tower.
A huge black crow was perched on the tower with black eyes watching the crack intently. As soon as the wall gecko emerged through the crack, its eyes made contact with the crow, and a moment later the crow’s eyes changed from black to dashes of rainbow-like multicolours.
The crow flew into the night air, carrying what it had received from the wall gecko to Leke Olugbade Bally, who was waiting patiently at the window of his room inside the huge palace of Dayo.
Leke Olubgade Bally opened his arms wide like a lover welcoming a loved one, and the black crow flew into his arms snugly. The evil man cradled the crow’s head, gazing into its eyes, and watching every bit of what had happened inside the Tower Garden. His evil eyes turned all-white, and smoke emitted from his ears and nose whilst two droplets of blood seeped silently from each eye.
“Ah!” he whispered in an evil croak. “So, in the end, she did see a man and rubbed tongues with him. Ah, the folly of young passion! Now we need to right that, don’t we, my little darlings? How can I let you thwart my passage to the feast on Earthlings?

To escape Temi’s incessant and anguished screams, Nneka Okez went to the only place she could find peace: her husband’s graveside.
She got down on her haunches as she usually did, and spoke softly to him, but for once the peace eluded her because she could still hear Temi’s agonizing screams, and she was surprised at how it was tearing up her insides.
Nneka wanted to believe that it had nothing to do with any special feelings for that boy; she wanted to know that it was just her kind heart playing tricks with her because she was naturally a kind-hearted person, and would definitely feel pity for anybody in that great agony.
But she knew deep down that it was not entirely true!
She had never felt the need for any other man, not since that beast Chinua Joshua…except, perhaps, her Moshood. Her husband had held a special place in her heart, and she had always believed that he was the only man she could ever love, dead or alive, and so they had still been together.
But these last few days had been very tasking for her, and her heart.
Sleeping beside that prince, caring for him, and watching him wither away had done some damage to her resolve and the general order of her life, and this made her feel a certain level of antagonism for him.
She had wanted him to get well and move on, but when his screams began, each scream had awakened something primitive in her, a feeling that scared her, and which she didn’t want to face or admit to herself.
She shut her eyes tightly and spoke earnestly to her husband, but for once her heart was not on the task, and she barely made sense to herself. For once something else had become more important than being with her husband, and that was scary!
All she wanted to do was go to that prince and calm him down, soothe away his suffering and bring him back from wherever evil place his soul had been taken, and take him away from whatever evil machination was causing him such pain.
But she only heard that sharp, hostile whisper warning her to keep away!
Oh, goodness, what was going on?
And then she froze suddenly when she heard footsteps behind her, and she turned her head sharply with sudden fear, and then her face fell apart with the most unimaginable look of nightmarish horror when she saw the grim-faced, scarred giant with the damaged eye standing behind her with the most dangerous look of evil intent on his face!
Chinua Joshua!
Chinua Joshua, or dearest Lords, no, no, no!
Nneka’s mouth opened wide to their last elastic limits with a horrified scream of horror that drowned out Temi’s screams! She sat down on the floor and dragged herself backward on her buttocks as the scream ripped out again and again!
This was her worst nightmare!
Oh, goodness, dear Lords, not again…not Chinua Joshua again!
He advanced toward her with great fury on his evil face.

“I saw you running out of that accursed house and coming here, so I followed you, my sweet Nneka!” he said savagely. “So, that is the grave of the bastard who took you away from me, eh?”
Nneka continued to scream, and Chinua Joshua bent low as his fist honed in, straight into her face!
The blow slammed against her face, causing blood to spurt out of her nose and lips, slamming her down hard on the grave of Moshood. She tried to stand up and flee, but he dropped down to his knees and grabbed her by the throat, and then he slapped her across the face again and again with mounting fury.
“How dare you, Nneka!” he screamed furiously. “How dare you allow that filthy bastard to touch you? Your body is mine and mine alone, do you understand? Oh, I’m going to make you pay severely! This bastard is lucky he died!”
Nneka Okez lay helplessly on the grave of her husband almost unconscious from the vicious beating Chinua Joshua had just meted out to her. In a daze and barely able to move, she saw him unzipping his fly and dragging out his erected member, and then he reached down and with angry gestures tore her undergarments away. With coarse hands, he spread her legs wide and positioned himself between her legs.
“Ah, Nneka, how I have missed your snatch!” he breathed gutturally, lustfully. “I’ve had to make do with the filthy mouths of stupid women! But no more, no! From today it will be me and you! My pole and your snatch, happy together forever!”
Tears of anguish and pain mingled with the blood on Nneka’s face as she felt his rod probing at the entrance of her innocent slit. Feebly she tried to close her legs, and her hands reached out defiantly to push him away, but with a roar of fury, he slapped her again, rendering her incapable of even moving an inch!
“Sir Chinua!” a voice shouted suddenly behind them as one of his men came into view, breathless from running hard.
“What do you want, Jabel?” Chinua roared angrily. “I’m busy with my woman!”
“Sorry, boss,” the man said breathlessly. “But there’s another man!”
“Who, the one screaming?” Chinua asked angrily.
“Yes, boss,” Jabel said. “He’s on the bed in the room, severely wounded, and naked save for his wound dressings!”
“Naked? Another bastard put his filthy paws on my woman?” Chinua roared with uncontrollable rage. “Oh, Nneka, so your snatch is now a hungry hole, eh? Don’t worry, dear, I’ll rip it apart time and again until it ceases to resemble a snatch, you whore! But first, I’m gonna cut off the head of that bastard in your bed, and shove it up your snatch, whore!”
