Topic: Where Are Your Fruits?
Early in the morning, as Jesus was on His way back to the city, He was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then He said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.
Matthew 21:18-19
Sober Reflections
Another things that prevent us from receiving our eternal inheritance is lack of fruits.
We are alive because God expects to receive fruits from us. And in due course we will be asked to present our fruits before the Lord. Anyone who does not produce good fruit will suffer the consequences.
Before Jesus started His ministry officially, John the Baptist was warning the Pharisees to bear good fruit to prevent them from being cut down. Matt 3:10
Jesus also taught a lot about bearing fruits using parables. He Himself was a good example to us.
In John 4:34 Jesus said, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.
He explained further that the field is ready for harvest.
Sisters, where are your fruits? Jesus does not want leaves (religious activities). Avoid being cursed or cut down for not bearing fruits as we see in our opening verses.
May the Lord open our eyes to see the ripe harvest
Prayer
Thank You Father God for giving me everything I need to bear fruits that will remain.
Holy Spirit, please help me to be fruitful that I may receive eternal inheritance to the glory of God in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen!
