Topic: Is Your Inheritance A Surety?

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan.
Ephesians 1:11 (NLT)

Sober Reflections
Some countries regularly publish list of names to claim monies willed to them. Yet, many people fail to lay hold of their inheritance for one reason or the other.

We have an inheritance in Christ by virtue of our union with Him. Yet, many of us are not able to receive it for various reasons.
We have looked at a few hindrances to our inheritance. Let us work on ourselves to overcome these hindrances and access that which is rightly ours.

We also need to live pure by circumcising our hearts: let us get rid of anger, bitterness, envy, jealousy, keeping malice, hatred etc. Gal 5:19,20
Rather, let us love one another and be each other’s keepers. Let us also show love to other people that they may see Christ in us that by our lives, they would be attracted to the Kingdom of God.

Sisters, yes our inheritance is sure and available but our actions and inactions can prevent us from accessing it.
May the Holy Spirit help us in this journey.

Prayer
Thank You Father God for giving me an inheritance through Christ our Lord.

Holy Spirit, please help me to live right and bear fruits that will remain to the glory of God in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen!
