I showed her the guestroom after I had prepared her a beverage drink. The night she planned staying with me ended  plus another day because the two of us really enjoyed being with each other and in no time we became so fond of ourselves that we were together everyday after work; if I was not at her house she will be at my end. Some people who saw us almost all the time together even mistook us to be in a relationship even though I hadn’t mastered courage to utter the magic words to my woman yet.

My bestman even didn’t believe me when he asked me for the first time if I had now proposed to my woman yet. If indeed he hadn’t known me for years he would have never accepted my answer to the question he asked me but what made him believe me was the fact that we never hid anything from each other since we became friends at the senior high school. He ended up by encouraging and motivating me since he had been married for over 3years and he always shared with me how sweet marriage was. “Hmmmmmmm the blind person who gets the opportunity to see the world and light for the very first time sees even the most ugliest thing in the world to be the most prettiest, since he or she has been deprived that privilege for a very long time in his or her life”, well until I get to have a feel of that thing(marriage) I will continue to threat that thing as a myth because right in my eyes I saw people who got married and in less than 3months they called for a divorce.

Was it that they were forced into the Marriage by their families or they never dated to get to know themselves better? Well that question has a multi million answer depending on the angle you looked at it or the angle you stood. My bestman drew a very nice plan for me to follow if I truly wanted to pin down my Queen and since he had much experience and exposure in relationship matters I followed the path he chose for me and I must say it really helped me. I blended his instructions together with my mother’s tips and that was the antidote to the whole thing. The formula worked faster like that of fire spreading in the bush during the harmattan season.

We planned spending the weekend at the children’s park together with my bestman and his wife, as all of us loved to have children around us. I took that opportunity secretly, went to the finest jewellery shop in town and selected the most beautiful promise ring they had in the store and ordered for a rose flower case to put the ring in it. On the scheduled day I planted a woman and her beautiful princess close to where we usually sat when we come to the playground and upon our arrival the little princess will bring the flower to my lady using a careful chosen words as she hands over the flower to my lady, afterwards then I will come in and execute my master plan.

Early in the morning I drove straight to my lady’s residence to pick her up as she had prepared something sweet for the little get together. I called Alex my bestman and he told me they(he and his wife) were about to leave the house to our meeting place. I hanged up and helped Queenstar pack everything we were taking to the children’s park. Alex and his wife Doris got there earlier than us and the moment Queenstar got down from the car a little pretty angel run to where she stood and handed over to her the “rose case” which had the ring in it with this words;

“A very beautiful lady like you deserves a pretty rose flower as a Queen is nothing without her Crown and a Woman without a Ring on her finger, I can’t afford to mould a crown for you and neither can i buy you a Ring which will befit your nice finger but all I have is this little flower, accept it from my heart because Love goes where Love is”

Queenstar bent down and gave the little girl a warm and lasting hug because what the little girl said swept her by the feet. The little angel then turned to the direction of the mother who was standing waiting for her. Queenstar tried to get closer to the girl and the mother but they had already sat in a car on standby, my lady was speechless as she watched the car move till it got out of her sight. She walked back to where we were seated because I had by then conveyed everything in the car to our little corner. She sat down admiring the artificial rose flower which almost looked real, she pleaded with Doris to dish out the food since she hadn’t recovered from the surprise she was welcomed with. As everyone was served I volunteered to say the word of prayer before we started with our feast, but after the prayer something so strange happened.

As a token of respect to God everyone had to drop what he or she had in the hand before the prayer commenced, I said a short prayer and everyone responded AMEN after I was done praying, as everyone opened the eye I took the rose flower which was given to Queenstar as a gift, everyone at the table turned his attention to me to watch what I will do with the rose flower, it was then that I opened the centre of the flower and in the middle stood the beautiful mastercraft ring with a pearl stone on it. Everyone looked at the rose flower in my hands together with the promise ring in an awe manner, I went on my knees and uttered the expected words after you show a lady a ring, “WILL YOU ACCEPT TO MARRY ME & BE THE WOMAN THAT WILL HELP ME BUILD MY FUTURE EMPIRE?”

At this moment, Queenstar was shockprise to the extent that she couldn’t utter even a word even though she opened her mouth about 4 to 5times, Alex and his wife Doris watched the whole scenario quietly as if they were at the SilverBird cinema watching a new movie been premiered for the very first time. Their heads went left to right over and over waiting for the final word or answer from Queenstar. As she came back from the land of surprise after a short while which to me looked like that of infinity she said “NO”, my good people I nearly got a cardiac arrest when she gave  me that answer before she busted into a loud laughter and said “YES I WILL MARRY YOU”.

I was the happiest man on earth that very day and when I phoned my mum to break the news of Queenstar accepting my proposal I could hear her from the other side of the phone smiling, she quizzed me to find out if I had taken enough time to study my lady very well because she didn’t want to later hear me give a different statement about my lady in a negative way. So my cherished friends and loved ones this is how the whole Love story started. After I ended my narration on how I met my bride everyone started applauding for taking that bold step forward, next on the program was our first dance as a married couple and before we stepped on the dance floor our bridal team came to the dance floor first to pave way for us just like how John the Baptist did for our master and Lord Saviour Jesus Christ. I and my bride displayed the dexterity of our dancing skills and added the icing of the well rehearsed dancing training that was given to us by our wedding planner. In fact we lit the place with glamour and honestly if I was not the groom for the day and I was an invited guest or anything apart from the groom I would be very jealous of the married couple.

Soon the couple were done dancing and the floor was opened to all to also come and dance, I felt the edge to urinate so I excused myself to visit the washroom to attend to nature’s call. I got to the gents side of the washroom and released the stress that was packed in my bladder and in the process I heard someone open the main door to the gents, I didn’t bother myself to check whoever had entered the place because it was an open place to every male present at the reception. As I came out of the toilet locker I was in to wash my hands, I nearer froze with shock because the person who had entered the place was not supposed to be there in the gents washroom, even if you couldn’t read the inscription on the door there was a picture attached to the writing. Guess who stood behind the door?

It was this same lady who was giving me eye contact and positioning her boobs anytime my eyes met hers, she walked closely to my direction after locking the main door of the gents in a very seductive manner, this lady was also very much endored both front and back and per my calculations at the very moment she had everything more than my wife except for the facial beauty that I could hit my chest and say my wife was in a comfortable lead ahead of her. She got to where I stood and spoke in wars in a very seductive way that;

“I know you love what you are seeing and you might love to have a taste of it, I can give it to you for free as a wedding present you know”, that statement alone brought my manhood back from it slumber as the lady went further to rob her soft palm around my flap. For a very long time I hadn’t had sex and I had starved that young man down there for almost 5years as I broke up with my last girlfriend and in the case of Queenstar, I and her had taken the “No marriage No sex” deal because we wanted to have each other for the first-time on the night of our wedding and right infront of me stood this succulent and desirable body.

 

Will this man stand tall against this temptation or he will fall like how Adam fell for Eve in the garden of Eden………………..
