A Mother
The word Mother can be used as a noun and or a verb.
As a noun, we use the word mother in relation to a child or children.
For example, Kiki’s mother is a writer.
As a verb, we use the word mother to describe upbringing or childbirth.
Upbringing example, Kelly did not know how to mother her over-sensitive son.
Childbirth example, Alicia mothered two great men of God.
A mother is loving, endearing, strong, kind, caring, intuitive, selfless, brave, persevering, sweet, hospitable, energetic, protective, inspiring, thoughtful, dependable, dedicated, supportive, wise, etc.
As we celebrate Mothers today, take time to reflect on all the things your mother did or is doing for you.
Then, reflect on all the sacrifices she made to ensure you are happy and to protect you from anything harmful or dangerous.
For those of you whose mothers are no longer with us, I know today has come with mixed feelings as you fight the yearning to see her smile, hear her sweet voice and enjoy the unique company only she could give. Regardless, let the world know what an amazing mother she was by writing a paragraph or two about what she meant to you.
For those of you whose mothers are still here with us, take a moment to call, visit, go on a date or send her a write-up from your heart.
Whatever you do today, make sure the day does not end without you telling her “I Love You, Mom!”
A mother is simply a person who is;
Made
